Right now my head hurt so bad. Not a migraine I don't think. It's been hurting for several hours now. Anyone know of any natural remedy? I really don't want to take pills. I will if it doesn't go away in a few more hours. But I really don't want to.

Hi there,
There is not a single day that I don't get a headache and it is quite painful. I have undergone so many tests and to date no reason or diagnosis has ever been made. I have experienced daily headaches since I was a child and it is so debilitating for me.
I have gone through all the imaginable types of over the counter medications and none ever worked for me. So a year ago someone introduced to me the Excedrin and I can't begin to tell you that within minutes I get pain free.
I have had numerous migraines as well and not even doctor prescribed medications have helped but sure enough the Excedrin does.

Caffeine. Drink a glass of tea, or a cup of coffee. I like tea. If not tea, eat some chocolate. If you are a big coffee/soda drinker, you body may be have withdrawls if you haven't had your usual amount. Also, drink lots of water. When your body dehydrates, you will get a headache as a symptom. I get lots of headaches. Sometimes, it's because I know I haven't drank enough water, or had enough caffeine. I'm not a big caffeine drinker, so if I drink it for a few days in a row and then stop, I get a headache because I don't get that caffeine. I usually don't think about drinking caffeine to make it go away, because I'm not a big coffee/soda drinker.

I like both coffee and tea. Drink both simultaneously.. As for water.. I drink it, but not as much as I should. My husband kept telling me, I need more water, but I kept fighting with him. I drink it right at when he tells me. It does not seem to help so I tell my husband see, its not the water'-', but you and he might be right, dehydration might have contributed to my headaches.
Thanks.

You might need rest and sleep. When my head aches, I usually massage my head with calming oils and take some paracetamol. I just can't take having headaches!

I think you had better have a good sleep after a warm water shower, enough sleeping is the best natural remedy.I often have headache, but if I could manage to take a good sleep, the pain would disappear.Good luck!
