Right now my head hurt so bad. Not a migraine I don't think. It's been hurting for several hours now. Anyone know of any natural remedy? I really don't want to take pills. I will if it doesn't go away in a few more hours. But I really don't want to.

Hi there, There is not a single day that I don't get a headache and it is quite painful. I have undergone so many tests and to date no reason or diagnosis has ever been made. I have experienced daily headaches since I was a child and it is so debilitating for me. I have gone through all the imaginable types of over the counter medications and none ever worked for me. So a year ago someone introduced to me the Excedrin and I can't begin to tell you that within minutes I get pain free. I have had numerous migraines as well and not even doctor prescribed medications have helped but sure enough the Excedrin does.

Really? I've never tried excedrin before. When I get a headache, I tried to hold out on the medication, but there are times when it just gets so bad, I reach for it. thanks for sharing.

Caffeine. Drink a glass of tea, or a cup of coffee. I like tea. If not tea, eat some chocolate. If you are a big coffee/soda drinker, you body may be have withdrawls if you haven't had your usual amount. Also, drink lots of water. When your body dehydrates, you will get a headache as a symptom. I get lots of headaches. Sometimes, it's because I know I haven't drank enough water, or had enough caffeine. I'm not a big caffeine drinker, so if I drink it for a few days in a row and then stop, I get a headache because I don't get that caffeine. I usually don't think about drinking caffeine to make it go away, because I'm not a big coffee/soda drinker.

I like both coffee and tea. Drink both simultaneously.. As for water.. I drink it, but not as much as I should. My husband kept telling me, I need more water, but I kept fighting with him. I drink it right at when he tells me. It does not seem to help so I tell my husband see, its not the water'-', but you and he might be right, dehydration might have contributed to my headaches. Thanks.

Have you tried massage? Massage the back of your neck. Also try to massage the flesh between your thumb and pointer finger. You could lay down and close your eyes and put a cool cloth on your head.

The massage on the back of my neck helps, but as soon as the massage stop, it hurts again. Have not tried the cool cloth yet. Will try. Thanks.

You might need rest and sleep. When my head aches, I usually massage my head with calming oils and take some paracetamol. I just can't take having headaches!

I think you had better have a good sleep after a warm water shower, enough sleeping is the best natural remedy.I often have headache, but if I could manage to take a good sleep, the pain would disappear.Good luck!
