Philippines

Hello Pinoy Lotters This actor had been known in Philippines to have taken the ROLES of every Villain in some movies. but there was a scene were he was a hero but of course, it didn't became popular compare to his villain role. He got into a criminal case i think. In the recent times, he got a stroke, then he extremely lost weight because of his stroke.by the way, he is a Fil-Mexican who used to be a security guard and part time basketball player. Time Flies by indeed. well, at least he will be with Fernando Poe, Jr. My condolences. that's life.

hi LK, he is the great villain in philippine movies. i am probably around 15 or thereabouts and just so addicted with the FPJ movies then. cant help but warn FPJ while this Paquito Diaz attacks from behind "Fernando, sa likod! sa likod!" he is the best.. everybody hates him. shows how good he can act. but we also know that he is a public servant. every movie fan will miss him. condolences to his family ann

LK, to be as versatile as his father, i say yes to Joko. his father is a wonderful comedian as well. even as a villain, he makes me laugh. i have seen a Paquito in one tv performance and he was a "good guy". he can do all. he just has a very nice face. will he pass on as a villain? let us see. ann

Hello Tigeraunt, Just like Max Alvarado, he's also a great villian an even more intimidating one. i agree, i wish there would be more simply but good villain like Mr. Paquito Diaz. you think Joco Diaz can take the mantle? we will miss him indeed.

This is sad news for the showbiz industry in our country. I think he is one of the best character artists and I;m sure everyone remembers him for the roles that he played in pinoy films. I found out about it the other day and saw a picture of him - he actually looked so different that he was almost unrecognizable. Let's just hope he is in peace now and no longer suffering from the pain of his sickness.

Me too. No one will ever be able to replace him or even come close. May he be able to rest in peace now

Hello Abby, He's no Longer in the showbiz being active in the shootings but i consider him one of the most important relics of our time. that's what happens when people get sick. at least it was his time, there was a former beauty queen who actually had a problem with her condition that made her change horribly. condolences to him.

Yeah another iconic artist passed away. Though his roles were not that prestigious like FPJ, Erap and other famous actors, his role was an important part of each and every movie. I was impressed to have known that he had many films about 300 already. I think that is an achievement. My condolences to his family as well. I watched GMA 7 wish ko lang show and they were just in time when they made last effort to make him happy by giving him a short but sweet recognition of his contribution to the industry. I think wherever he is now he is already happy with his creator.

My Condolences to his family! His life is an example to every one. Let us work our way toward a healthy life. What is the sense of living till we are old when we are bedridden and a burden to our family. People when still healthy and strong abuse their body by drinking, smoking, late nights, overeating, eating junks and all and other unhealthy lifestyle. Once they are sick and bedridden that is the only time they will value the healthy given to them by God. Let us live healthy and be healthy till the day we die.

Indeed, Paquito Diaz is villain to many people. But he is consider as hero of his family. Playing villain is not really easy. I salute Paquito Diaz for that.

Hello syoti, I think the definition of a hero will never be determinded with out the presence of a Villain in the story. because how can a story be good if it's only the Hero that is present character

Oh my! He passed away already???!!! I watched a lot of his movies when I was a young girl and he is very good in his villain role. I heard that in the past that he and other colleagues like Rez Cortez and others do not have a good life after they retired in the industry and it was FPJ who were helping them a lot. Its sad to lose these kind of actors in the Philippines movies as we do not have quality actors and actresses nowadays.

Farewell to him. I was a fan of his even before. He is just so good in playing his roles. The quality that he gives to his work is just way over the top. I guess the thing that I like most about him is the laugh he makes with the films he was a part of. We will remember all the good memories of him.

Hello Jhaidro, I liked the guy portraying the Villain Role as well, it's just hard when old actors die but that's life. when people grow old, we really should try to remember those we have seen in showbiz that has been good. it's one of those old things that are starting to disappear.

I actually cried after watching his last interview with Korina Sanchez in Rated K. He's one of my favorite Pinoy actors. I used to watch his movies with him as the leader of the goons and FPJ as the protagonist. He's a legend and his passing will change the face of Pinoy villains forever. Rest in peace, Paquito Diaz. We shall remember you.
