Is it the end of the world?

I had allergies since december of 2010. I had no time to see a physician, been so busy at work at the same time I'm afraid of what the doctors might say. Today, I had to rest since I had a hard time sleeping last night due to the allergies. I skip work and headed to the clinic which is a few blocks away from where I am staying. Had the consultation at around 3 in the afternoon. The dermatologist checked my arms and legs. After the interview, she said that you might have a dermatitis (to which see didn't explain the cause) and continued.. you need to have your CBC (capillary blood count), ESR, creatinine, and urinalysis. In my mind i began to ask myself. what are these laboratory test for. Its not related to my allergies. No swab was taken as a sample. The dermatologist was more concern of me having Idiopathic Thromphocytopenic Purpura. When I headed home, my mind started to wonder.. I tried to look for the meaning of all of these via the net. and ask.. is it the end of the world? ITP or Idiopathic Thromphocytopenia Purpura is related to bleeding disorder.
