Sounds a little strange to me but I'm not an expert. I'd talk to a doctor and ask them if they find it healthy. It is recommended that you sleep for 8-10 hours every night instead of three hours every weekday and then 15 hours on the weekend. Everybody's different though. There are people who only need three hours of sleep per night and people who need around 12. I'd talk to a doctor and find out what's healthy for you.

Yeah... but if you have concerns about something with your health then you really should talk to a doctor. People on the internet can try to help... but they can also lead you wrong. lol

I'll be very straight forward with you. No, it's not healthy. You're sleeping habits is really bad. The sleep that was lost during the night can never be compensated by sleeping during the day or on weekends. It is still recommended that we get 8-10 hours of sleep every night. However, if you are working nights like many call center agents nowadays, then what can we do. It is what we call occupational hazard. But, if nothing of that sort prevents you from getting enough sleep at night then please try to do so.

Hi. julise. I think that sooner or later a lack of sleep, will affect your body. I try to get at least, 7 hours of sleep at night, if possible. I get sleepy around nine at night. When you are not properly resting, you will make up for any sleep that you have lost. This happens. I really think that you should rest more to avoid any problems down the line. Take care.

As far as I know this is not quite the way one should stay healthy with sleep. We should sleep only eight hours so I will suggest you sleep only eight hours per day and then try to see if this is affecting your day at work or not. If not then continue with this as this is the way one stay healthy.

I guess the question I have is how do you feel after 15 hours of sleep. For me that would seem like my body would be tired and not really caught up with my brain.
I think that you can continue to do this but at some point you need to change a bit because does not seem that during the week you are getting enough sleep.

Hello julise ;)
I can give some good sleeping tips.
1. Exported correct sleep rhythm, every day go bed at the same time and get up in the mornings and at the same time.
2. Try not to sleep before at night sleep (midday, after work) because it is more difficult fall asleep at night and sleep is poor.
3. Before sleep need to drink warm milk if do not like milk may be replaced with chamomile tea.
From the beginning it is very difficult, but after that sleep is a sweet and healthy.
I was yours problems, but now I sleep very good!!

This is my sleeping pattern. Also I have seen that this is the sleeping pattern of all office going and school going people. Sometimes sleeping abnormally for a long time leads to headache while waking up. As long as we don't have such discrepancies, I feel our body needs that much of rest.
