Some Thing Like This Ever Happend With You?

I am not a person who believes in a Whim or a Jinx! I am a rationalist and I think rationally and logically about the happenings in the life!
But some times some simple things make me to think, if there is something which is guiding us or gives hint about the future things which are going to happen in our lives!
I have got few supervisors on my farm who are habitual gamblers. they play two digit lottery which is called 'Satta' in local language where they are suppose to select a number and bet on it! If wins thy they would get some ninety folds of the amount they bet!
Since they are betting on daily basis, they would always look for a cue or hint to get a lucky number to bet on. So they every time used to listen to others conversation and if found any number in their conversation they would bet on that number! I used to laugh at them but several I found that these people made some big money by getting such numbers!
One day after seeing off my wife at airport myself and my grown up son entered the Airport restaurant and having some snacks and coffee we had a bill for Rs.76/- from the waiter, while looking at the bill I have noticed that a boy entered the restaurant at the same time when I received the bill and he had number 76 printed on his T Shirt! Looking at this I told my son if I tell about this coincidence to my supervisors then thy would definitely bet on the number 76 for the days gambling.
Since I couldn't meet any of these persons on that day, next day I met on of he person and told that I had a number for him yesterday, when he asked about the number I told the whole incidence and told the number and Lo that got sat on the floor with his head in his both hands while saying that the result on the previous day's betting was 76! He was cursing his luck as he couldn't meet me one day earlier!
What do you say about it? Could this be a mere coincidence? If Yes how these Johnnys of mine are making money now and then on such whims? Please respond if you have any such experiences where we don't have any valid or logical explanations!! Thanks !!

Hi Dear Wuliaode! Though I am a technical person and I want logical explanation for every thing! Some times I too get baffled at the incidences which have no satisfactory explanations or reasoning's and we tend to call them as coincidence!
Like you said there are still many things which are beyond the scope of the Human being to understand and infer accurately!

it happened just now!
my friend in myanmar usually had a bad internet connection.
tonight, his connection is actually really good.
but then he said it.
he said, "hey my internet now is really good. there's no dc at all"
5 seconds after that....
hahahaha
disconnected!!!
he jinx it!

Hi Dear Julise! Extremely sorry for being late in responding back or commenting back! I was thinking that Indians are people who believe in jinxes and whims. I thought they are more superstitious people when compared to other parts of the world! But I got pleasantly surprised to note that Jinx and Whim is not confined to any country or group of people and it is universal phenomenon!
So you poor friend must have cursed himself for saying that his connection was working really well as the connection developed a snag within a few seconds of his appreciating the same! Such things are beyond the control of human beings are may be they are coincidetal too! Bu like some people say that some mysterious power is acting the things to happen like this which is still unknown to Human being!
Well with the progress of the science I think we can come up with the some solution or the the theory behind such happenings! Thanks for responding!

Hi Dear Dep! I too can under stand that there is a pattern of cause and effect! But it is really difficult to establish any relation between the cause and its effect!there seems no pattern at all! That is why we use the vague word 'Coincidence' which closes the topic of discussion once for ever!
