Saying goodbye

Hi friends,
This is my last (or one of my last) posts before my vacations. I´ll bring back pictures and, I hope, a nice tan.
My suitcase is almost ready and I had a streak of luck yesterday when I went to buy the flip flops. As Summer is ending, they were on a huge SALE!
I decided to buy 2 pair instead of one. They costed less that $2 aech pair.
I´m making endless lists for my friend´s son who will stay at my home while I´m away. Funny, this gender thing. If anyone of their daughters had come to stay, the list would have been smaller. I used to do the same with my poor hubby. Lucky for him, he was wise and didn´t bother to read the instructions.
It took me a while to decide what to leave behind. I´m taking a beautiful pair of mexican earings and a ring that goes with them. Big and full of turquoises, very much a la Frida Kahlo.
See you then, on March 20.
I´m sure I´ll miss you a lot.

SWEET! I am still jealous my friend. Going to a warm climate and having fun, while I am here freezing my Tootsie's

AH.."guicha"...so, so envious, so in mind, I am travelling with you! LOL! I am so glad you got the bargains..it's a nice warm feeling to know you can treat yourself to two pairs for the price (normally) of one!
I know the insecurities of leaving your home, and plants, but I am so hopeful this young lad, will make you proud!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation. With the weather nowadays, there is nothing better than laying out on a chair by the beach with the sun coming down on you. Have a wonderful tan too and just unravel. When you come back, you will feel so much better so you can get right back onto posting on myLOT!
