I am not new to such issues but it is different if you are involved. The family of my husband usually intrudes my decision with regards to my son. If I don't want to let my son go with them because we have a prior appointment my mother-in-law will really entice my son by promising good things to happen if he comes with them. We live in a compound.. so we see each other. My son is 3 years old and I hate the treatment they are showing.. What do you think should I do to stop them intruding my decisions with regards to our family? I respect them to the extent that I will heighten my patience that sometimes I just keep silent....and cry in silence.

It's your husband's call to talk with your in-laws for intruding with regards to your son. You spill your heart out to your husband and make him understand your situation well. From there, your husband will know what to request from his parents and hopefully, he knows how to , by not implicating yourself.

sorry for a delayed reply....yes i did. I told him what will be the circumstances if we allow them intruding our decisions with my son. He didn't say anything..He only listens but there were no resolutions...
Well, I think he didn't understand me because he didn't grow up with them. He grew up with his grandparents...So I have to be stiff...
