When I first heard about Nonito Donaire, I was really proud of him since he is a great Filipino boxer. That changed shortly when he made those accusations to his father and mother. People really like rag to riches stories. That's what Nonito Jr.'s wife wanted to stage. This is a really really disappointing move. The damage has been done. Now, Nonito Donaire will not have my support. If he wants to be like Manny, good luck with that because his attitude alone is far from that of Manny's and he will never be in a place where Manny is now. What do you think?

Thank you for sharing your opinion, zills66. IN terms of the use of the English language, Nonito is better but language matters not to me. Donaire (for me) is not a good fighter. A good fighter should have God, talent and humility.

Well, we cannot blame Donaire for thinking like that about his father. Maybe he has been hurt by something that his father has done badly, that's why he is like that to him.
I just hope he will overcome his anger to his father and be more forgiving. He just have to look up to Manny in that aspect.

Hello, simplyd. Yes. Maybe. Manny never complained about how his father left them when they needed them most or how he was hurt by it. Manny just accepted his father like he never left. Well, I guess it all depends on a person's character and I am sorry for Donaire.
