hey we are not like a machine. you knew you needed a sleep so why don't you sleep? everyone of us needs 7 or 8 hours of sleep every day. we have to sustain our biological needs so we will not retire early!!

Certainly good eating habit and more rest will help boost some energy. If you are looking for a quick fix an energy drink can help but keep in mind that it will boost you very quickly then when it wears off you will feel very low and unmotivated because your energy level will drop. A quick warm shower can help awaken you and or a nice walk outdoors.

Well you should eat good food and mostly raw vegetables so that you can maintain your health. Mostly you need minimum six hours of sleep everyday no matter what happens! My dad would wake me up at 3 in the morning to study which i hated doing so! Cheers!

lack of sleep is not good for health, you should still keep up your healthy lifestyle with plenty of eating fruit, drinking water and exercise every day.

Take a nap lasting 10 minutes and if you can't wake up you should first set the alarm. After you wake up drink coffee. Hey I might try my own advice.

The time I spend sleeping is just the same as yours on average. Most of the Filipinos never start their day without coffee. I think that is not so bad. As long as we do not take in so much of it, I think that we will be fine. I believe that preparing the things that you will need for the next day before you go to bed tonight will help a lot. It is hard to have things done on the same day. You tend to forget some things.

Hey badwes, Sleep is very important. However, were you to miss some of it, you would need several things to get you awake. The best thing to keep you awake is spirit. One with an extremely strong spirit can stay awake forever. The next best thing is a thought. Some extreme thoughts, happy, sad, exciting, etc. can keep you awake throughout the day if you keep thinking about them. The next best after thoughts is adrenaline. This will keep you moving, provided that you keep moving. However, this is difficult to achieve if not playing sports or are in a dangerous situation. Next are energy drinks. Energy drinks such as red bull and monster will keep you awake for some time. Drinking too much of this will cause you to "crash" or make your body more resistant to the drink, so it will be less effective. The average person just tries a cup of coffee. It works for most people. I hope I helped!

Well coffee does help me boost up my energy. It makes me not want to sleep and keeps me active. It doesn't happen to everyone though. Maybe because I'm not so used to coffee, that is what happens to me. Drinking coffee a lot isn't a good habit though..

Yes, coffee, tea, a coke, or any other beverage with caffeine will help you jump start your day. You could also try caffeine pills such as vivarin. However, a good diet and plenty of sleep are the best remedy.
