Mylot and money related discussion.

Everyday whenever I log in mylot.com, a number of categories appears at the top and at least one of them is always any money related category. But surprisingly on 1st March,2011, when I logged in mylot.com at about 10-30 PM, for the first time as a member of mylot, I found no money related category at the top and as long as I was there up to 11PM, the scenario remained the same which means that no money related discussion was started during that period. I think this is very unusual for mylot. Have you also any such experience in mylot? Do you think that money related discussions are on the decline in mylot? Is it due to the fact that money related discussions are losing importance as a topic for discussion in mylot?

That's funny and unusual, everybody wants to make and talk about money all the time, maybe the world economy is already improving.

I've seen my share of money making discussions but maybe people don't want to keep asking questions about how to make money all the time. There are other topics that people want to discuss. I love MyLot and I am starting to make a little money here and hopefully I will be able to make lots more.

To be truthful...no, I have not noticed that every happening, I am so used to seeing that category in the banners...BUT, I must admit it would be a joyous day for me if we would run out of "money" discussions, as I find them uninteresting, with NO real news! But, dang, what did I do but respond to one about money..LOL! I make my money by working, and the internet is purely for pleasure. I am so, out of it...after I joined myLot, my son had to explain, the reason the $$$ signs changed at the top of my page, is that I was earning money..I was almost embarassed. Great news...as far as I am concerned! Take care..and Cheers!

You are very observant and your finding is very unususal indeed. I am not in a position to comment because I have never paid attention to such detail as you did. Since our social networking and our desire to earn money online could be one of the most important or popular reason among all of our mylotters therefore for your observation of money making category always appear on the top. Thanks for bring this up and money may not be the only thing we have after here at mylot, at least you saw it.

hey didi, you don't make a conclusion based on a single observation. It's not scientific. As I see EVEN now, there are "make extra money" is up there. Even if it is not there, remember there are many other interests groups, just that at that precise moment, the money makers are taking a break. Everyone need rest, so while they rest, the rest of the interest group can take centre stage...hehe...

I think mylot is great way to find a solution for money related issues.
They are not losing importance ,they will remain on the top.
I too get informations about sites that are going to be scam or they are scam through mylot discussions.

You are so right Didi,
I have been noticing for the last 3 days actually that they are less money making discussions. At the same time it could be that many were spamming and I have seen admin in action more so now and lately.
So this could be the reason or most are away and will return back soon. lol
