I am bored. It's weekend and I'm off from work and now I don't know what to do at home. I don't know what to do with my life.

Hello mihama! I know this feeling. But I know the right way. Find one or two friends (they can be more than 1-2) and go to tavern or go out of town (for fishing, camping, rock climbing). My choice was - tavern it was so funny but I have other problem. Always when I make really good one day, the next is so boring and depressed. I hope I helped. Good luck. -skrejka7802

Hello. I'm revisiting old posts again. Lately, I'm really feeling bored with my job, with my life. I want to do a lot of things but it seems hard to do due to limited resources. I also need more friends. What a life.

My weekends are too busy with household chores. I really shouldn't be on the computer right now. I have to get in the shower, do groceries, pick up my daughter from work at 3, do laundry, go to church... and that's just today. When I woke up the other morning and stepped out of my bedroom I saw the pile of laundry. My first thought was, "I want to check out." Yeah, check out of life. I am the mother of 2 teenage daughters. My eldest will be going to college next year. She is dealing with a lot of stress with that. I feel like I am going through life just looking after this family with nothing for myself. My life is more than half over and all I have to show for it is my two beautiful daughters (not that that's a bad thing but some other achievements would be nice). I like what the other poster said about taking up Spanish. You never know where one little decision in life will take you. Bowling leagues, book clubs, taking a class in something you are interested in... all of these will get you out, help you to meet people and make lots of friends. Do all this before you are saddled down with the responsibilities of a family. This is what I told my daughter. She is taking Travel & Tourism in college. She also has a boyfriend. I told her she better get as much travelling in now before she starts a family because then she won't be able to do any of that stuff. I have to explain that I have a chronic illness so have been unable to work for the last 15 years. Living on the single income has been difficult and taking any vacations is out of the question (I am planning on Hawaii for 2015 - our 20th wedding anniversary). I also want to go skydiving and stuff like that. I just hope I will be able to do that while I am still able. Do as much as you can WHILE you still can.

Do you mean your life on thew weekend? If so then you could look into starting a hobby? I know it's hard sometimes a hobby or something to give you a feeling of accomplishment and some creativity. You have been working alot as I have not seen you post in some time. I hope you are well.

Hi mihama Not only you more or less we all pass throw such time. If you believe me, I get up take bath have some light food and push of to my college. There I see more people igniting life. And feel happy but back home most of the time I keep silence and try to adjust with some nonadjustable people too. Now you are there working, surely one or the other thing mus be there. Take them up and think positive that as you are human being you have to contribute as per your ability to make your life worthwhile.

It's weekend. You shouldn't be bored. There are so many things to do. You can rent some DVDs and watch them or go hang out with your friends or read a book. There are so many things to do. As for me, I had a long tiring week so this weekend i'm just staying at home taking a rest. Have a good weekend.
