When Things Go Wrong

It seems when one thing goes wrong another follows behind like the plumbing breaks, next it is your car and so on well that is my situation first the plumbing then the car now the washing machine leaked all from the bottom and it was kind of fixed but now it is making a very loud noise!! It seems like everything is going wrong ever since we moved here. But I can not let myself stress over stupid things like that that are bound to happen sooner or later it is just a part of life as I see it and all the bills piling up too, but I am a happy person even when things like this happen I have to keep it under control because of my high blood pressure and I do. Bit some people just seem to want to walk away from all these problems meaning "My husband" I had to sit him down last night and tell him this I said you can not just walk away from problems because there will always be some in the way during our life and you have to deal with them then I begged him not to be so stressed because it would make me stressed and asked him if he wanted me to be in the hospital because of my blood pressure if you stressed me to that point? He said no I told him believe me I get so frustrated at things and sometimes I am really unhappy but I don't show it I keep my head up and pretend to be happy even when I am not! But I am just happy to be here on this earth and thank God for the things we have and it could be worse but I won't let it get to that point! Do you know people that just want to walk away from things when they go wrong? Does is not irritate you?

The answer is simple. Expert ability requires expert challenges!! I can see you have things well under control. Relax!!! Let's think a moment. Didn't all those problems in the past get solved somehow??? These will too. We were never neant to run from our problems. We were meant to overcome them. When these problems get solved, new ones will come tomorrow. We learn and grow in the process.

So true!!! Why some people get so upset? I don't know and don't really care to know all I know is that the problems might be frustrating but if they are ignored and not fixed they only get worse!! Great response by the way!

What a string of bad luck, you have my sympathies. You can't walk away from problems, but you can take some space and go back to them sometimes if they feel like they are getting overwhelming. Sometimes space helps you to deal with things better.

Thanks for the response and your sympathies! Maybe it will all get better soon isn't there a saying that says you got to go through hell before you get to heaven? Hopefully everything will work itself out with some help.

((hugs)) Sounds like an awful string of bad luck for sure. But yes you are right you can't walk away every time things go badly. I can't say I have the same difficulties as you are having w/ my DH he's up for those sort of things. Me on the other hand I am not and go quite into a panic. Though he likes to ignore finances because we will always earn more money but the question is will it be enough.

Thanks for the hugs! I needed that! I am quietly panicing but I know it happens and have to go on and my husband is so frustrated over everything lately! But he said we hardly ever fight because when I know he is fixing to blow up I go in the other room and he always comes to apologize. L.O.L. As for our finances here I don't ever think it will be enough but all we can do is keep moving on and hope for the best! Have a good day!

it super annoying when things dont go right, then when it's unexpected it's worse. i was there last week, i';d been asked to do something and was going to do it. then when i went to look in my bank account found my insurance money actually went out earlier than i thought. had to cancel what i was going to do even thou what i was going to get paid for the job would have been good. then this weekend a friend couldnt make it up here, cause something had gone wrong on their end. so i have to be realistic about it and just put up with it. no matter how grumpy i am over it all.

I have a friend of mine who is similar to the character you mentioned, she will never try to sit down and solve the problem or any issue which is in hands and bothering her and people around her but she will always say that the problem is here by itself so it will go. But it never goes just like this there is always someone finding a solution for the problem. We told her so but she maintains what she thinks is right. It irritates us a lot as sometimes it creates problem for us too.

I'm sorry to hear that about your friend and you are right the problems can not fix their selves we have to work to fix them. It is irritating but has to be done. Thanks for the response and have a good day!

Sometimes you have to walk away from things when they go wrong, because some situations there is very little you can do about. There is a saying round here that goes like this: "Cut your losses". It usually refers to businesses that are losing money, but can be applied to your everyday life. I moved out of my parents house and moved 100 miles away and everything has gone wrong, and I have just been losing money left right and centre. So I have walked away and moved back up north only 10 miles away from my family and friends.
