Thin crust or thick crust?

I work in a pizza restaurant, and people are constantly asking for different types of crust, even though we only have the one. Personally, I wish we had deep dish, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. Some people get so angry when we don't have the kind they want. Which kind do you like? If you called a place that had good pizza, but they didn't have the kind you like, would you still order? Or would you choose a different place?

I like thin crust but I can eat Pizza either way. My husband likes the regular crust I don't really like the regular crust Pizza unless I am really starving! L.O.L. If the Pizza Place doesn't have the crust I like I will still order from where I am because It makes no sense t me to drive all around the world just for a certain crust, gas is too high to be picky! That is certainly true! We paid $3.62 for gas yesterday, and I heard it was supposed to get over $4 this summer. It makes me wonder sometimes why more people at my store come and pick it up instead of letting us deliver it to them. Not that I mind - less gas my drivers have to use.

Yea the gas here is $3.39 and I heard the same thing about going up to $4.00 by the summer here too, When I order I always choose the delivery because I like to tip the driver because I know times are hard these days so I always give them a good tip, I am a big tipper at Holidays! L.O.L.

I love deep dish and from a restaurant I wouldn't order it any other way. I love the crust on a pizza and dont want it hard.

Thick crust is a lot better than thin I mean I like to have that huge thing on the end of the piece of pizza as it is suppose to be a Pie.

I wouldpreferto have thin crust because I don't like bread very much. When I have thick crust, I like to eat all the ingredientsandleft the crust.

Do you think you would like the bread more if it was higher quality dough, or is it a health thing? Sometimes no matter how much I like the crust usually, if I get it from Dominos or someplace gross, I still end up not eating it.

HI, I did went to pizza to have my pizza once awhile and basically I am more into thick crust. I don't like to eat those pizza with thin crust,it seem the pizza size is smaller and very hard to bite it. I love to eat those pizza with cheese at the side of the crust,it taste superb.

I agree - thin crust is sometimes harder to eat. It's more floppy, and then you end up with pepperoni grease on your shirt, and no one wins. I am a big fan of the cheesy crust, though.

I like pizzas with thin crust. I usually don't like thick crust pizzas unless with mozzarella cheese stuffed on it. When I have those cheese stuffed crust pizzas, I usually eat them last. It's just makes the pizza more yummy.

I am not sure I really care too much as to how thick the crust happens to be. If I absolutely had to make a choice, I would probably say that I like it thick enough that it has that "pillowy/soft" (but NOT mushy!) texture to it, and usually prefer that over thin crust. However, I do like thin crust as well. My only requirement is that it not be too greasy (I hate greasy too), but if it is I just sponge it up with a paper towel - no big deal. I am not very picky about where my pizza is ordered from. I usually do Papa Johns just because they have a convenient location to where I live and I can order online and they take a credit or debit card, and I have always loved their pizza (I know some people who hate it but I've never had a problem with it; that's just my experience). I occasionally order pizza from other places as well, however. Like I said, I usually like pretty much anyone's pizza, so I don't refuse to order from anyone based on whether or not their crust is thin or thick enough. In fact, I am content to eat plain cheese from just about anywhere... and yet I feel rather odd saying this because I am normally a picky eater!

I like thin crust but if the pizza's good I'm fine. I think the taste of the pizza is more important than whether or not you're getting thin crust or thick crust.

Hi. surveygeek. I would still order, but I will choose another whole type of order though. If I wanted a specific type of pizza, I would go to another pizza chain then. As a potential customer or an existing customer, I would not get angry if the pizza chain does not have the type of crust that I want. I prefer thin crust. I will only eat thick crust if it is soft and buttery. Or if it has cheese stuffed inside of it. Since you work at a pizza restaurant, I would like to ask you a question. Have the pizza chain corporation or your manager including staff members ever thought about having Cheese Stuffed Pizza? Digornois makes this kind of pizza, and I want to know if you all are planning to come up with this idea or not. Thanks!

Can you not make me choose to any of the two? because i would love put them all in my stomach! however, for me... there are some restos who have very delicious and yummy thick once, the once where cheese are overflowing but there are also other whose thin crust are too savory that i really cant resist. That's why, it depends to what resto i am at.

I prefer thin crust pizza because I like that I could really taste the toppings. Except for Pizza Hut, the only place where I eat thick crust pan pizza, I would order the thin crust every time I eat at a pizza place.

I prefer the thin crust cause I can taste the toppings more, unlike the thick crust one, it's like eating an ordinary bread with toppings. But if the craving are there I don't care whether the crust is thin or thick. I'll go for any as long as I like the toppings. :)

It depends my friend. What would I make in a similar situation is depend how strong is my desire to get exactly that kind of pizza I wish! Sometimes I will not order from that place becouse I would be happy to enjoy only the kind I want. But sometomes I will order if I am verey angry! The main thing that you would wiling to know is that in these times it's better for your buiznes to make the different types of pizza becouse other pizzerias could make it already.

As long as the pizza is prepared and cooked properly, it's good either way. however, I like to really load my pizza with toppings, which makes the thick or medium crust rather necessary. But really, the crust it what makes it a pizza, isn't it? If you can barely tell it's there, why did you bother ordering pizza? just have pasta or something!

i personally like the regular thick crust, as long as it's flavored well. I don't like bland crusts. my favorite is when it has a buttery garlic flavor. i'd eat anything though if it was pizza. thin, thick or stuffed. my place of choice though is Pizza Hut and I always love their crust. Pan tastes so much better, but I know hand tossed is better for me.

I am sure that your restaurants shall have some types of the pizzas. So I am sure I will find at least one of my favorite type. The customers who complain about that you can't offer them the type of pizza they want, they must be somewhat mean. Do they want caviar pizza?:) I like the thick crust and I will be fine that the pizza with lots of bacon, tomato and especially cheese:) I love China

Here's what I'd do: eat it anyway. I'm not picky, and people should be less picky. If you know a place doesn't have other kind of crusts, don't order there or stop being so picky about your food. Food is food. We should be grateful that we have the means to choose what kind of food we want and not have to worry if we'll even get to eat today or tomorrow or the day after.

I prefer thin crust. But thick is ok too. I definitely wouldn't bother to go somewhere else just because of the crust. I'll just cut it off if I don't want it. The kind of pizza they have in a restaurant isn't that important, as long as it's good pizza.

I tend to enjoy thin crust the most. If nothing else, you get full on toppings rather than the breading. It's not something I'm gonna go to war over, and if I don't have a choice, it's not gonna make me leave, but it's just what I like better.

Well, I choose pizza depending on the toppings on it. I love cheesy pizza with pepperonis on them and the olive oil! this would be yummy to every bite. I would rather look for a different place serving the pizza that i like. I don't want to waste my money on pizzas i that doesn't taste good for me. The ambiance of the place too is another thing to consider though this would be the least. As long as I've got my favorite pizza, it just find to eat anywhere!
