Cracking fingers.

I crack my fingers a lot, i mean the joints of my fingers. I do it quite often. Sometimes me and my friends bet on who can crack their fingers the most lol. Ok i don't really know so can someone tell me if i'm causing any harm to my fingers by doing so?? Or is it Ok to do that?? And do you guys crack your joints too??
