are there no more vacancy for nurses there in USA for immigrant people?? I have just graduated nursing and was hoping to be able to work in US in the next 2-4years. I know that I have lots of exams to do and have at least experience for 2 years in hospital setting. I heard lots of reviews from my countrymen that salary there for nurses are very good and I'm hoping that I can work there sometime... hope you can enlighten me about the working status for nurses there in the US especially those who are living there

Nurses here in the USA are always in high demand. If you want to work in the US, you must have a green card or a working visa, and given the fact that you didn't get your nursing degree in the USA, you must prove that your education is equivalent in order to get a job here(US)which means that you will have to start all over again, take a few classes and pass some tests, you will also need to prove your proficiency in written and spoken English.

what I have noticed today is that there are no more recruitment going on for nurses in the USA unlike 3years ago where there are many recruitments posted in the newspaper. I know that there are lots of exams and I have to pay them in dollars. Is the pay that good??may i know at least the minimum salary of nurses there in the US
