What interestin things are their to do in Istanbul?

I am going to Istanbul in April, and was wondering if anyone has some good ideas of what to do while there? I have been looking into going to see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, and possible going somewhere for a traditional turkish bath. But do anyone in here have some ideas for some local things to experience? Things that the random turist would not think of?
