Getting medical assistance in MD is difficult.My wife tried getting it because she recently lost her job and health insurance due to heart surgery and they told her she made too much money on unemployment.To me that's just crazy.

Sometimes there is a loophole. Talk to a free lawyer. Also if you have high med bills piled up I think they look at different.
