Hi artistry!
I had a hard time during my college years where I was character assassinated by my schoolmates and friends just because I excell well in class. There were varieties of gossips around that were made about me just to demoralize me. I had to admit I hadn't been strong. I had my weak points and I really thought of giving up. But I had people around me to defend and care for me during that time and made me strong. I also had a way of releasing my tensions through writing. It helped alot or else I wounldn't be here anymore, healthy and perfectly sane. I am able to oversome it and eventually cleared my name. It was hard. But it made me who I am now. I am thankful to have survived. :)

...Hi hemlockspruce25, Your story is one of courage. Very often we will find especially in high school, if you excel othere are jealous because they cannot compete with you. Therefore they use lies and smear tactics to attack you. Sometimes it can do great harm especially to a young person. Bullying has lead to some terrible things as well. Thank goodness you had a support system that helped you through it and thankfully you talked to people about it. Your writing was your sanctuary, that is great. The best to you in the future and keep writing, it is good therapy. I too love to write. You can read some of my work at http://www.authspot.com/writers/quiet+voice.8137. If you visit I hope you like it. Thank you. Take good care.

Artistry-
I've had a few times where I have felt like this in my life journey. I recall when I first left my ex and had no idea if I would even make it on my own. I left with just the clothing on my back and one emergency bag. I thought I'd end up on the street. Even when I got into housing I thought that I'd be doomed to that life forever! However, I continued with my school work and graduated college. I got my first teaching post and moved on in my journey.
When I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2005 I had another life change. I really wasn't sure where it would go, what would occur, or if I would even survive. My spiritual beliefs kept me strong and the Goddess saw me through it and here I am today cancer free.
Namaste-Anora

..Hi Anora, Wow! What an amazing story, thank goodness you are healthy and hopefully that will continue. That is wonderful news. You have my good thoughts. You made a decision when you left that you wanted and needed a change and your determination helped you to move forward. It takes a lot of courage because often there is no one there to prop us up or to even help us. We have to depend on ourselves and our faith in the Lord. Somehow the strength comes and we grab hold and without knowing just which way we are going or how we will get there we make it. It was a brave thing you did and I admire you tremendously. Good job, take care of yourself always. Thanks for your response.
