That happens to me quite often. I have a story I've been working on for about 10 years now! Whenever I get blocked, I'll either start a different writing project or just stop worrying about it until I'm inspired again. A lot of my stories come from my dreams and I write songs and poems based on my moods. I get blocked a lot but I also have tons of ideas floating in my head. I'm always dreaming.

I have writer's block at the moment. I haven't written poems or stories for a very long time. I want to get started again, but it is harder than I thought. I have decided to write something else instead of the poems and stories. I participate in online discussions and write letters and other things. I think that the most important thing right now is the fact that I write, what I write is less important. I want to write poems again, but in the beginning I simply focus on writing something. I don't know if it is going to work, but I am going to try.

Sometimes, you just need to get away from it and not focus on your writing so much. This might help you out. Something that helps me get some ideas is reading journal articles, talking to people, and things like that. This does sometimes help me. Something that you could try. Just some suggestions.

I do not do too much writing, but there are times when i am wanting to write a letter and forget what i wanted to write, as well as there are times that i am lost for words to write. What i tend to do is take time out have a bath and try again, as relaxing helps in lots of ways.

I've had that feeling when it comes to my drawing. Its like trying to grasp a wisp of something that you can't see and transform it into an image that you can't see, but really want to. Its hard. Sometimes all it takes is for me to go through something or see something that causes the images to become clear in my head and hands.
In my writing I had assumed that because I can talk so much that naturally I would have things to write about. But lately I have not had the desire to contribute to the sites I write for either. It comes and goes. The best times are when I see a title I want to write to and the words just start flowing and I can't make it stop until I'm finished. When I can't I will drop the article and look for another one. I rarely write for myself because I can't ever seem to get my brain to cooperate. Peppermint or Mint Medley Tea really helps to calm my nerves so I can focus. sometimes all I need is a good nights sleep.
Try not to worry over it and use your best methods of relaxing and channeling your energy into something else.
Hope it helps
