Just a few more weeks and we all go away for a break

I hope you have a good time on your vacation. Sometimes it doesn't even matter where you go as long as it isn't home. Knowing you have something to look forward to makes it easier to handle problems when they come up. How did you lucky enough to get a trip that you don't have to pay for? That would make it seem much better.

Oh that sounds like fun. I cannot wait to see what you get to do or where you go. It will be very good for the whole family to get away and breath some fesh air and see some new sights.

How i wish i can go away for a break as well because i really need it though not as much as u needed it. IT's a good break away from home because u get to experience something new, different environment and also fun. On top of that, u need not have to pay for the holiday and that should be the best part of the entire break. Do make the best out of it and share with us here.

The best holidays are the ones we don't have to pay for, and the second best ones are the ones that we've saved up for, so in a way it feels like we don't have to pay for them, because we already have. :) Have FUN on your vacation. My husband and I are collecting Air Miles, and Aeroplan Miles, and saving them all up to spend on a hotel room in Montreal. We are excited, and can't wait to go. We'll go when we have enough Air Miles. :)

Hi jugs, really glad to know that you are planning to stay away from your house together with your family to get refreshment. seems that your are long for this break for quite some time no wonder you are more excited that the kids. Yeah, as a caring mom the priority to deal with is to acquire permission from the school authority so that the kids could enjoy their break heartily with unalloyed pleasure I might have a short break in coming May for a few days. My husband and I would like to spend our few days vacation in a hilly resort. my netbook is always along with me. If having time may be I would like to browse mylot for a while. Happy posting.

YEah! iT's been a long time and u have been waitin far too long for this chance to come by!! haha =D Be excited by all means because u deserved it! IT's a form of reward for u and you family members, for the tough times u have gone through. SO now good times are here. Though it might be a little short, but the memory is gonna last forever.. haha Enjoy!

We all need a break from time to time, so I'm happy you have something exciting to look forwards to.

I realize you started this discussion a while ago, but I hope you and your family had a great time. We all seem to be over-scheduled and it is a healthy thing to get away sometimes....I only wish my husband would realize it.

Jugs- I'm very happy for you! I hope you have a great time! My husband and I were supposed to go away in May but his work denied his vacation so we won't be doing anything this year. Not a huge deal, maybe next year. Namaste-Anora

Now that is the best part of it, all for free. hahaha... Imagine taking 4 people along. That would have been heavy on the budget. Hope you enjoy your long weekend and use that moment to have quality time for your kids. Go do something together or share something together(like sleep in one bed perhaps). That would make your trip worthwhile.

It is wonderful that you have been able to take your four sons out of school for a day off to go on your long weekend away. I know exactly what you mean about having so many appointments that for ages you haven't been able to get away. I say that about my disabled son's many appointments that can come up to one year in advance. It is lovely that you have a free holiday and entertainment. You are sure to have an excellent time and I really hope you will do.

Gotta admit, I haven't read the other responses, so I am in suspense..just wondering where you are going...and what the wonderful break will be? Must admit, one tends to garner a better view of life, when one can get away, count one's blessings..and relax. And not having to pay is a huge bonus! Good for you!! We all can use a break. I can't wait for it to warm up a bit and work to slow down so I can get out of this house. I'll have to pay for mine but that's ok too...it will be worth it.

You are so lucky that you are having the opportunity to get away from your home for a short period of time. We've not had the opportunity to take a vacation away from home in the past three years and I hope that we will have the opportunity to at least be able to do a little bit of something this year, but it is really too soon to tell at this point in time. I would like to be able to take the kids to Tennessee because they've never been and I really like it down there.
