MY Son's XBOX 360 is retarded

My 9 year old son came to me and said that his XBOX 360 was retarded. I said why. He told me that it was retarded because it won't play XBOX games. It only plays XBOX 360 games. He said that it should play all XBOX games. He said XBOX 360 thinks that it is smarter then XBOX since it is a 360 instead of a 0 but it would be smarter if it played games from both systems.LOL.

It is a pain that the games are not cross playable. I can see a Xbox not being able to play Xbox 360 games but it seems that it wouldn't be an issue the other way around. The Playstation plays games from its previous versions as far as I know. I was thinking there was a way that you can download the ability to interchange the Xbox games but I'm not sure. They have a alot of capabilities

Jen,I will go do some research and check to see about the update for xbox 360 to play xbox games. That would be cool if I could find it. How are you doing?

Kids are something else. That is just too funny! Of course he is right. Why would they design a system that can't use the games from the earlier version? That just doesn't make sense. Leave it to a kid to come up with that one! Have a great weekend!

He thought it was stupid. He went to play his old xbox games on it that he likes a lot and it wouldn't play them. Thank you for commenting. Have you found out anymore about your treatments?

Not yet. I have signed the paper that they didn't give me before, but they didn't call me back by Friday. I hope to hear from the Monday, but we will see...

You know there are a lot of people out there who feel this way, and I think it is only natural. Because when a Game system is brand New you end up spending a lot of money on items and then when a New system comes out you want that one too, but they forget to tell you nothing is compatable so you are stuck with games that work on the one system, but have to get New games for your other system instead. I think personally they would make a lot more people happier if everything could stay compatable in some way as well.

Some original xbox games will play on the XBOX 360. It is called backward compatibility. Though your son is correct not all games play and they should especially if he has his favorites. I would look on line for the list for the games available to see if you own them. I believe all you need is an update for the Xbox. Good Luck I hope some of the games he really likes are on the list so he may enjoy them longer!
