I was on a vacation when I composed this poem. Writing poems is my way of expressing my real feelings.
In the midst I stumbled
very lost and wounded.
It weakened me not, instead
My way to you I shall find.
'Tis the path that I take
Dark and elusive, I daresay
A journey 'twas vague
Yet 'tis the risk I must face.
I just do hope that he will realize how much I love him.

Hi Mjweed,
I have just read your poem and it certainly sums up the feelings that must have been within you on your holiday.
Are you still in contact with the recipitant of this poem?
I also find myself writing poetry to convey my inner feelings when the spoken word just can't be uttered. It is a great way of letting others know your true feelings even when apart.
