Which dating website work and what should I say on them?

A simple question, which sites do and don't work. I want to find a nice woman for adult fun and a bit of friendly company. There are a lot of site but how do you pick one? Having pick one what do I write? Do put a photo up on site or not? Should I use a pay site or a free site?
Have any of you used a one of these and what happen?

im a member of adult friend finder, i find it good. but that all depends on your taste, and if your male you basically have to be a paid member to be able to view the profiles. then sort thru the females to find the real girls. i've got a few pics up but they nothing flash just simple show what i look like. but be your self in the profile, let people know what you are looking for.
i've had a lot of sucess in meeting men, and those i've met have been really nice. i also spend a fair bit of time on chat (msn/yahoo) with them first so i can get a feel on what they are like. also dont give out your mobile number till you are sure about the person.
