What's the best to answer in an interview question like this, "What do you expect from us?" I know its just simple but I'm a little confused.

U can tell them about your expectations of the company. Letting them know how u feel. U can open up about yourself, so that they know more about u too. For example, u can say things like promotion, pay raise, employee benefits or things u wish to have, whereby u dun get in your previous company. HOwever, dun be too greedy by expecting alot as it will backfire on u.. haha

In my opinion, the best answer to this kind of question would be an opportunity for me to grow and in the same time looking a place where i can contribute to the company. In the mind of the employer, they would think that you are a invaluable and willing to learn. I think this is the quality that an employer will look for when they are looking for candidate. Nevertheless, I will also let them know that i am expecting fair remuneration and appropriate guidance or backup in work cause i think this is the most important factors that may affect my satisfaction in the company. Thanks :)

Did someone actually ask you this? I would say "Consistent employment, fair wages, a chance for promotions, equitable treatment and honest communication.

If it's an interview for a job, how about fair and considerate treatment?

I assume this in relation to a job interview. Since you want to highlight your talents and abilities, you could answer with something like: "A chance to show you what I can do for your company." "Allow me to grow and learn and also, share my own experience." "Opportunity to move up because of my abilities and an eagerness to learn." You want to convince a prospective employer why you would be an invaluable employee, not only because of your knowledge and experience, but also an enthusiasm to learn new (their) methods and policies.

Say that you expect to be challenged, but that backup should be within reach just in case. This is the only way you can get to your full potential
