yes, yes i know that death is the hardest part of living... but if you are deeply emotional and you have a lot of "special friends" and good ol' friends of yours and in the future will just forget you or maybe they've got an amnesia, truly to be forgotten is worse than death... i have experienced one and I was so hurt badly, i've got a very best friend who forgot me because he got an amnesia then all he can remember is his family... truly to be forgotten is worse than death, and now i still miss our bonds and good memories together... :( how about you? have you ever experienced being forgotten by somebody / someone else close to you???

not actually forgotten. but do you know that feeling when someone very close (as in super close) starts to treat you like a stranger. It really hurts and it sucks. I have a bestfriend when I was in high school. we go to school together and we even go home together. Now... it just hurts specially when I meet him on the street as if we were never friends. You just keep on wondering if the friendship you shared was for real or maybe it was a product of your imagination. kind'a sucks.

Fortunately, I've never experienced having a friend with amnesia and totally forgetting all about me. But there are instances when a friend forgets about me and it surely hurts especially if you've been friends with them for a long time and if you have shared really good moments with them.

Yes, it's very hard to be forgotten by someone, even if it's because of something they can't help. My mother had Alzheimer's and I don't think she remembered who any of us kids were near the end. It was so sad to see. I keep pushing that part out of my mind and remember when she at least knew us.
Old friends sometimes get busy with other things and things change for all of us. I have forgotten about people when I got to busy with other things. It's a horrible feeling to realize that.

You are right that no body wants to be forgotten by dear friends. But please don't take it to your heart. If s/he has forgotten you without any substantial reasons, you should also forget him/her. You will many more friends in life. All the best.
