Jewelry for the Feminine Warrior

My Necklace - As you can see, I was drawn to this shield because of the strong, bold colors. It's amazing how a person can be drawn to a certain color and/or type of shield. These necklaces are a wonderfully unique way to communicate to others! I really think that they are an extension of personality. What do you think?

Below is the excerpt Alison included below the photo of my necklace when she posted it on Facebook for others to see the completed project...

Alison: Jessica's necklace - She was drawn to this shield because of its strength. Because the shield is cream, brown and black, I wanted to add a little color, but still maintain it's power.

My friend/coworker introduced me to “Jewelry for the Feminine Warrior” late last year, and of course, I was curious so I had to check it out for myself. “Jewelry for the Feminine Warrior” was started by an amazing woman named Alison, who makes and sells personalized jewelry. She does an excellent job, and the best part is that it’s all custom. To begin the process, I went on Alison’s website and picked out a shield, which is a beautiful and natural stone that becomes the centerpiece of the custom-made necklace. No two shields are alike! Alison then asked me a couple questions about who I was as a person, what I would like the necklace to communicate, what my favorite colors were, and so on. Once that was done, she created a beautiful necklace for me that was absolutely perfect. It’s amazing how she can create such beauty from a shield and a few simple questions. This process is so amazing that can’t even do it justice by a simple discussion. It’s hard to fathom or explain, but Alison certainly has a gift. I would like you to see for yourself. She’s got a Facebook page that you can check out using the link below. You can see pictures of the shields as well as necklaces she’s made to sell as is and necklaces she’s already made for other ladies. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jewelry-for-the-Feminine-Warrior/154512077913802 I have also included a picture of the necklace she made for me with the excerpt she included. This process made me feel so special, and I feel such strength when I wear it. This woman does the most amazing thing for ladies all over the world. I hope you will take a moment to see her work. Please let me know what you think of her page and my necklace! Have you heard of “Jewelry for the Feminine Warrior” before? Would you consider having a necklace made? Why or why not? If you do request a necklace from Alison, I would love for you to share you experience with me!

Hi, Polly! I certainly have enjoyed my new necklace. I had it made several months ago now, but it still feels like new. It's hard to explain, but the experience in which the necklace was made was amazing. On top of that, I feel strong and powerful when I wear it. I realize there's no magic or anything to it, but Jewelry for the Feminine Warrior is a really great thing for any woman who has the money for a necklace and needs an uplifting, positive experience. I highly suggest it!

Those are very nice. I had my eye on the one you got, when I looked at the facebook page. I love jewelry made of stones.

You'd really be amazed at how well-made this piece is in particular. I love the stones also, and I know it's going to last forever! It's so neat having a necklace of this material. I feel like a new woman again each time I wear it! Allison (the lady who does this as a side job and made this necklace for me) really does a great job in addition to all the thought behind it. She asks all the right questions before creating the piece and before even choosing colors for it. A lot of that comes together with the answers to the questions and the shield itself once it's picked out. It was a really positive experience for me, and I would highly suggest it to anyone woman who has a little extra money to put aside for one (they can run anywhere from $50 to $80 or more) and who wants to experience something positive with a beautiful necklace to keep forever as a result!
