I just got a guitar and I've found some tablature guides online and a few chord tutors but is there anything I can do to learn to play a good rhythm guitar without help from a teacher. Are there any free online softwares or video guides available to help me learn to play? If you have any experiences with learning guitar using the internet, could you please share them with me? Are there any tips on how to memorize scales, arpeggios and chords? Are there any techniques to help with finger blistering? Does it matter if I use a pick or my fingers? One problem I've run into is while trying to strum I always end up inadvertently strumming more strings than I am supposed to. Are there any tips on how to prevent that? Any help at all would very much be appreciated.
