Do You Buy Things That Often Get Advertised On The TV?

When we watch TV, we are forced to watch many many advertisements along with our favorite TV program. The more popular the program the more number of ads one gets to watch or is forced to watch. Now the idea behind this is to make the watchers buy their product...Does it work? According to statistics it does work since it leaves the image imprinted and when you are looking for a certain thing like , say toilet soap, Lux , Camay or Vivel or whatever it is that you watch more number of times comes first on your mind and chances are that you will buy the same product. This is true of most products. I personally have done this and am doing this when I want to try some new product, I would buy something which has some feed back either through the TV ad or through other users. How about you all? Do you buy things because they get advertised on the TV

I do not watch television that often, but I don't ever pay attention to commercials. I prefer a word-of-mouth type of deal where someone recommends something to me. In my opinion commercials are meaningless and wasteful of energy, time, and money. The only thing I have ever bought like that was a Snuggie, and only because I slept with my friend's Snuggie first! It was so soft and warm that I just had to have one. :) They are pretty awesome! I did buy my sister a Dairy Queen blizzard maker she saw on tv though!

Normaly i don buy thing online or by phone because i prefer to personal because like to touch the product by hand and testing it to have a feel of the product before i buy it . Beside that i canvas or question the salesperson for more details. Having a brick mortal or shop good foreign the robust if there is defect .

I don't buy what i see on tv. I just buy what I want. I think it don't work and is sometimes more irritating to the people than anything.
