I've noticed this number keeps increasing, lol, but what does it mean? Is it how many discussion you have posted? How many you've responded to? How active you are on the website? Any answer is welcome.

It increases with your participation. Each time you post a response it increased. It also increases when you get two responses to your discussions and or once you make a comment back to a responder. It is completely different with regards to earnings. My activity varies from day to day, but my points beside my name is for almost 6 months of participation.
