I've just received an email regarding the celebration of women's contribution to the society because today (March 8) is the International Women's Day.
For those women out there, let's celebrate the girl power!!
Here in our institute we are encourage to wear purple today to show support..
For the discussion, do you know great woman/women whose contributions or legacy had been recognized in the world and leaved tremendous impact in the society? Here in the Philippines for example, I can say that former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino did that noble job, she fight for the democracy of our country and was able to return it successfully...her other actions will always be a part of the history...
Thanks! ^_^

Girl power it is! I am proud to be a woman and not just any woman but an individual who gets the opportunity to contribute something to our society especially to our country. Great women personalities I can think of are President Cory Aquino, Mother Theresa and Princess Diana whose examples are to be followed and admired throughout the ages.

Forever remembered. I just wish we could all set them as examples and do great things in our way starting now. I truly believe that women can do almost anything and sometimes even better than men. It's all about staying strong no matter what discrimination we get from others. It's about proving ourselves that we can change the world and do something great that no one has ever done before.
