student's burden is a future haven

Students are always complaining for having a lot of projects, paperworks, fieldworks and assignments. Even for taking up very difficult to answer quizzes and examinations.
I, too, usually do that, I complain why and why not do some of things we used to do in school. We all know that, not all of the things we learn in school will be beneficial for us someday. Yet, we still have to be a good student and our part.
Though I'm complaining about things like that, I know, from the very start that the reason why I'm studying real hard and why I do my part is because there is something that the world can offer me in the future if I will enjoy the life being a student.
Nowadays, whether a person is educated or not, it is very difficult to find jobs. So, the only edge over them of being a student is, they have the opportunity to know things above what others know. Study things that other individuals doesn't understand.
I consider it a haven after burden. Actually, it is easier to be a student than be a worker or employee or a businessman. So I think, all students like me,must enjoy this stage of life and not waste it. Avoid much temptations, if possible, it is better not to try.
I may be have a lot of sleepless night because of studying, having no time to mylot, facebook, and others, still I can say. . . I enjoy what I'm doing, studying is one of the best part of living.
Happy mylotting.

I'm a little bogged down by fieldwork and assignments. It's difficult, but I think I'd rather learn now and learn well then be out in the job industry knowing absolutely nothing and having no money. Being a Student is a blessing... but like most blessings (houses, jobs, children... lol) it's not just going to sit there and sparkle... you have to maintain and take care of it and it can be a whole lot of work.
Thanks for posting this though. It's high time I got off mylot and did my homework.

Being a student is a responsibility. As a student we should do our part to fit ourselves in our shoes. What I mean is, since we are wearing school uniforms (some are rugged yet bounded by school dress code) we have to act like we are really student. Do homeworks, paperworks etc.
Just because that is the essence of being a student.

We don't have school uniforms or much of a dress code at my current school, lol. I don't know about displaying the "essence of student", now you've just gone off the deep end on me! lol I think we should work hard and not complain because we've been blessed, but blessings don't sit there and sparkle. I don't think we need to be displaying the "essence of being a student".

I too complained about the workload that I had when I was a student. However, looking back on things, by spending the years that I did furthering my education, I think that it made me more prepared for the real world. In addition to that, I also feel like I learned to deal with the stresses that are placed on people when they are working. I'm a stay at home mother now, but I don't for one minute regret the fact that I went to college.

I could say one of the happiest time in one's life is to be a student. Whatever I may become one day will never let me regret what effort I'm exerting right now. Just because it is one of my way on how I could show who am I and what I want.

I just read a post from FB earlier today from a friend of mine, saying that some countries have too high a standard from their students. Specially the ones entering the workforce. Sometimes these standards are too unrealistic. They have too many things to do which isn't realy beneficial when it comes to real work.
I've had a chance to work in two different continents. And the country I am in now, a diploma only gets you to the door. One's progress within a company still depends on one's ability to adapt, diploma or not.

Just a word or two...
I have to agree that complaining about studies is very common among students, and I believe most students had complained about it, but it's just a way of life. When we have something that we are not satisfied with and wish that it could be better, we start complaining. Even though complaining is never ever a good thing to do, but that's just our human feelings.
I also agree that all students should enjoy this stage of life. The stage whereby you do not have any stress. You only need to take care of yourself and your own studies. I bet almost every single adult misses their childhood and youth life. Learning, is always one of the most luxurious part of life.
So, if you ever feel like complaining about your studies, think about all the things that you need to take care off. Almost nothing except studies.

Yups. Thumbs up autumnEclipse. It's true that its just a way of life. We complain for we want something better and easy to do. That's part of growing up.
Thanks for the advice too. I'm so thankful that I'm a student and not like any other.
