paypal new restriction - Paypal New restriction for indian members
India
March 8, 2011 3:00am CST
Starting from march 01 2011. Paypal has imposed several rules for its Indian members. We cannot use the money for online purchases , and some other conditions are there. I think this rule will force its Indian customers to move away from paypal. What do u think about this new rules? And how do u get affected by this rule? Share your opinion here and tell your suggestion also

Yaa its really sad that paypal has imposed such restriction on indian users but still its good enough that they have not closed it permanently. we can still have a income of 500$ per month and the sad part is we cannot invest any money from our paypal account. for that we have to try paypal alternative which is alertpay. Thanks

Hi, hatimyal, can I try an alternative of paypal which is definitely alertpay? Moreover, is the management of mylot aware of this problem of the Indians with paypal?

That's not fair! I'm thankful that at least here in the Phils. there's no paypal restrictions on anything. I can freely withdraw my money and can freely purchased anything via paypal. Hope things will get better soon with you. And as for now I can't think of anything to suggest but to wish you good!

I don't understand why Paypal will have this rule to Indians. I am sure India is a large market because there are many Indians and the IT business is well there. Now Paypal wants to lose this big market? It doesn't make a sense. It means nothing that Indian customers will have money in their Paypal accounts because they can't use it. It is a strange rule. I love China

Indians are the sufferrers - for so many of the options.I am an account holder and am also a new member just striving to something on the net to see that I hold an active account - but these arrivals (rules)on the pay pal are really disappointing.I may have to learn something more .... Any how,I have accumulated very less amount ...by now

Hi, KRTWORLDWIDE, let me know whether mylot uses any alternative of Paypal like albertpay. If albertpay is allowed by mylot, we, the Indians , can switch over to it. If albertpay is not allowed by mylot, we, the Indians ,should inform the recent developments at Paypal to the management of mylot so that they can take proper action to save the interests of the Indians.
