Domino effect

Do you believe in the saying "domino effect"? A chain reaction in which a change will cause similar change then will cause another similar change. I'm sad because I just finished watching a sad but inspiring movie. Then after watching, I received an e-mail telling me that my work was rejected (that was from my other job), which made me sad again. Right now, I can't sleep because of that sadness. So, I just wrote it as a discussion here in mylot. Have you felt that domino effect in your life? Or a chain reaction in which you're sad the whole afternoon because of different reasons that happened simultaneously throughout the day? Please share your experience.

I do believe in the domino effect and when it is something sad happening, we must DO something to stop it continuing and going on and on and on... I can see that is no-one responded to your topic here then youwould have felt even sadder so I thought I had better rectify that If you just concentrate on the sad things that are happening then more will come too. If you stop thinking about them and get on with something else positive then you can break the chain, or at least attempt to

Nothing and no series of events can be that negative to make you quit! Yu are surrounded by postives but you won't see them until the clouds move off over the horizon. You must help them on their way though and look around you

yeah, i think one unfortune moment early in the morning could ruin the rest of the day. however, it would be up to you if you could just snap out of it and treat each situation as isolated to each other as possible.

There is a domino effect but I do not believe that it will start with a sad movie. I think we control so some extend what happens in our life. I do believe in karma, you know, what goes around comes around.
