Why the alias?

It was not my habit to create complex or mysterious alias for myself in the net. I had not really thought of creating a pseudonym that will make others think why I had it. Sometimes it makes me wonder why people choose this one alias or that one. I do believe that pseudonyms are representations. Still, it makes me wonder a lot. So why did you create your present pseudonym or alias? What is the story behind? Or there wasn't a story at all but a random thought?

My Alias tells something about me. I am just a simple person, with simple likes and dislikes and simple lifestyle. The D is the first letter in my name. I like to have an alias, so i can write all that i want to say, without feeling ashamed of it. Nice to be of a littler mystery, because anyway my picture is there for them to see who is this girl writing this and that.

Anyone and everyone who comes in contact with me knows that I am a very hardworking girl. I never take on a task unless I know I can contribute to it one hundred percent of my time. I slang the girl so make me unique so to prevent other users from using it. Alas here I am with the pen name as ^ = = = lol, that is the story behind this hardworkinggurl!

I actually have a very common name and most of the numbers I like to go with my name were already taken in most of the sites I join so I came up with Shattered from the Comic Book X-Force, one of my favorite characters when I was in High School was names Shatter Star. Shattered seemed like a good pseudonym. Also it allows me to be anonymous online for...

Hi bingskee... To be truthful....I chose to use a pseudonym as I am a fearful woman, shy and cautious. Chose figurative as I am inclined to the arts and I think this word best represents one aspect of my personality. I use another pseudonym in another site which, I think, also represents another aspect of my personality. Cheers, bingskee.

Hope I'n not too late. As you see, I have a two name French psedonym. When I created my account, I was in the middle of playing a videogame about French history and I usually take my username and other psedonyms from there (which means random names from books, sites etc.). I took up the title character's name and thought of a random name that will go together and nicely with the first. It sounds good to my ears and I took it up. Now, I feel like jeanneyvonne becuase somehow that is a now a part of my online persona.

interesting how you got your pseudonym. i don't really feel sure about aliases. perhaps if there is truly a need to hide my own person, i will try one.

I think some people would use alias or pseudonym to hide their real names or for style.

I don't really have a pseudonym if I write something I usually just go ahead and put my name on it. My nick "macdingolinger" I use a lot though. It's an old nick name from when I was in high school. When I started using it to sign up for things I didn't really think it would go as far as it has.. but there it is!!

I used several names on the net that I used. I call it code names which serve as username or in game name. the first one, was brench17m. the first syllable was taken from my girlfriends name , Brenda. The other one was ECONOMISTA. This is because I am an economics graduate. the last and the one that I am using right now is Danzylop. I used it in here, and othe forums platforms. Danzylop, the first syllable is taken from my name Roldan. and the rest stand for nothing. heheheh

I never thought of creating a pseudonym before, so here in mylot i just used my name. But in other sites i'm using simplyauthentic. I am a simple person but with a little naughtiness and craziness in me. I believe each of us were created uniquely so i added authentic. I am distinct and different from others. I don't like following the norms unless it would mean breaking the law.

I have a different view I mean against you I like mysterious alias just like mine it is cervine888 I have a story behind it and I only use this one to in all net memberships I mean on emails and other site. I love alias cervine because it means like a rabbit not a rabbit but just like a rabbit. You know that rabbits don't speak a lot but I do speak a lot but I want to make myself as a person who don't speak a lot. thats why I use my mysterious alias CERVINE.
