More than 1 'computers' interest?

Why does MyLot have more than one interest group for computers? I don't get why there are duplicates sometimes. It makes things messy, and then I sometimes miss new threads.

Probably for the same reason that some members duplicate discussions that they do not search and add to what is already there.

Because any member can create a new interest : the number of interests is not controlled by myLot, and there is often three or four for the same subject. You can even create an interest with your user name, and some old members have their own interest group. Add all computer interests you can find in your interests, to be able to check them all.

Ugh, that's kind of annoying. I kinda wish mylot was just a normal forum layout so that I could go into any category and see what else is out there, and that there wouldn't be so many duplicates of interests out there. It gets cluttered and very messy that way.
