At her age she must eat but I did everything, I cook any soupy vegetable so that she can easily chew it, I also introduce any kinds of fruit but she only taste it. What shoul I do? Do you have any solution to my problem? I just want to gather any opinion, that's a big help for me. thanks

Hi gra2011 I think because she is so young you can help her by maybe making homemade fresh potatoes, yams and vegetables and mash or blend them so she can eat, although not solid but she will be getting he same nutrition. I hope this helps a little.

I think you just need a little bit more patience. It's great that she's taking in something. It'll take time before she appreciates food. There are a lot of books and videos on how to help your kids eat, and I think it would be great to look into them. However, is your baby malnourished? have you taken her to the doctor to confirm that? If so, perhaps it's something serious. Otherwise, it's part of growing up.

Well, as long as she still drinks her formula, I think that would be okay. My nephew was a picky eater too until he grew into a toddler and right now he's eating almost everything, most especially after running the whole day.

If she is healthy with no deficiency in vitamins and her pediatrician is not concerned with nutrient deficiciencies of any kind then I would not worry too much. Continue making the soupy veggis and or introduce like the above poster stated to blend some of them as if they were mash potatoes. Introduce one kind at a time and wait it out for a couple of days to see if it is lack of interest or she simply does not like the one. You may want to discuss this with her pediatrician for further instructions.

from my experience what I can say that at this age kids like finger food more than any other food. they are learning to be independent and want to eat themselves. experiment with some nutritious finger food. dont try to force feed her. prepare some finger food and keep in bowl where she is playing. when she is hungry she is herself pick up and eat. hope it works for you. good luck
