I am very sorry to hear Kalyni2011 about your husband and you health issues. Depression is so very powerful friend and we have to try above all odds to try to somehow motivate ourselves. Although the motivation and positive thinking will not erase the health issues it will help with feeling a bit more optismistic. I have not had health issues but a great many issues in my personal life. I find that when I think really hard I have a tendency to get really negative and depressed. I am sorry I do not know any remedies, outside of wish you and your hubby many blessings and prayers for better health and happines. Please be well.

Sorry to hear that. I wish you and your husband to get well soon. Anyway, you can stay here while you are recuperating at home. Why don't you ask your doctor if there would be alternative medicines for you both? Take care!

I feel pity for you and your hubby.According to traditional Chinese medicine the Sulphur is warm in nature. It is used for treating frequent micturition, diarrhea of cold type, dyspnea etc.Oral use may render sulfur partially converted to sulfides, and stimulates the intestinal tract, leading to diarrhea. You might as well use herb medicine for treating your diabetic. It has little side effect. In addition, here diabetics frequently eat balsam pear fruit to lower blood sugar.

Hello Kalyniji, How do you feel now? I am sorry to hear that both of you are not doing well. I don’t have much knowledge with diabetics. It is better to change your doctor if the medicine is not working. I can understand the pain if the problem is in feet. Take nice care of you both and get well soon. Please do not get depressed, the right treatment will make you alright soon.

hi Kalyni I am so sorry to hear that you and the Professor both suffer from neuropathy of the feet. I had that when I was first diagnosed and when I lost abut forty pounds it all went away. I am not saying that it will do that for you however. I just wish I could tell you some thing that would really work for both of you. There are some creams here in the US that supposedly work and I know one has capiscum in it derivered I believe from red pepper. I have never used them so do not know if it works or not. I noticed one of my dear mylot friends has given you a link so am hoping it will reveal something that cou ld help my dear friends here, I know how miserable that is as I had it too.I have no real idea why mine just stopped as the only thing I did was exercise like crazy and cut back on foods so I lose quite a bit of weight. now sadly I am again overweight and recuperating from a bad fall. I was in the hospital for 20 days and as my insurance would not cover any further i was sent home. but my right knee is starting to not hurt so much. I had two black eyes and have a broken nose but thats not at all painful. my knee is and I have to walk on it. lol. hope someone here can give you some really great help. I will send prayers for the two of you; hugs from hatley.

I hope you both get to feeling better very soon. Can you control the diabetes with your diet? Once the sugar and insulin levels are under control it might help your feet. I know that circulation is a problem that has to be dealt with by those who suffer from this disease.

We have controlled our diet to the best possible extent, sugar level is normal, doctors say it is due to damaged nerves, can't be reversed. thanks for response kalyani

Since u and your hubby are arduent followers of Baba Ramdev, i hope u can take his ayurvedic medicines like Chandra prabhavathi and madunasini and practice yoga and pranayam. you can down load videos for diabetics from BabaRamdevHealthVideos.com in which you can fine video for Diabetics with complete instructions and diet too. Once the sugar level comes to normal then automatically the burning sensation in the sole too will be controlled. you can have Giloe juice in the empty stomach early in the morning.

Hi Kalyniji... I am really sorry to read that you and your husband are unwell. First and foremost, Homeopathic medication for diabetes and a few other ailments are only to prevent further damage. They dont and wont cure your diabetes. I dont have the problem as of now. But my father does. He is, however, very active. So his sugar levels are somewhat controlled. So sorry about your soles. :(

Hello, Kalyni. I'm so sorry to hear that you and your husband are suffering from neuropathy. I am also a diabetic. I have suffered from neuropathy for several years, even before I had been diagnosed with diabetes. I have finally got some medication that helps with this pain. It is not completely gone but it is managed pretty well. The medication is called Gabapentin. That is the generic name for Neurontin. I started off taking one pill three times a day. It has gradually been increased to three pills three times a day. It can be increased even more over a period of time. I am taking 300mg three times a day (2700mg) and it can be increased to a higher dose over time. The pain of neuropathy is caused from nerve damage due to diabetes. It also involves poor circulation to the feet. I have my sugar levels under control with diet and medication but it has not stopped the pain of neuropathy. So I don't know about others telling you that it will go away if you get your sugar levels under control. I would suggest you do some research using a search for diabetic neuropathy. It is best to learn about it for yourself and not depend on the opinions of others, not even mine I could be wrong. I fully understand the pain the two of your are experiencing. I still have the pain but not as bad as it was before the medication. I hope the two of you can find relief soon. Constant pain can be the cause of depression in many people. I am enrolled in a pain management clinic for chronic pain in my back and neck due to many different causes but they are also treating the neuropathy pain in my feet and legs. It has been a great help to me over the years. They can help manage your pain and teach you how to best live with it if it cannot be cured. My best wishes to you and your husband.

We know it is due to damaged nerves, conductivity tests have establised this, also know the damage is irreversible, we both are taking Nerokind plus, , Prgabalin 75 mg capsules, Pyridoxine tablets, they are meant for the nerves only, doctors say, they have prescribed. Thanks for detailed response god bless u kalyani

Being Diabetic is a lot to deal with, and there will be days you will feel less like doing things, and the days where it seems like you hurt, and sometimes there is nothing you can do but to wait it out. Learning what bothers your Blood sugars the most and learning to keep them under control is a Big thing for sure and can help how you feel as well. I think when there are problems that you're having problems with such as this, going in and talking to your Doctor about them could be a Big help as well.
