I had bribed police few times, that was when I went wrong side, when my car got hit to the electric post, to get one of my friend’s case in favor of him and the last time I gave bride was when the investing policeman was not showing interest in the case I filled for forgery done with my signature. May be all these had helped me out of many messes. Moreover I had seen many people here bribing police men and even they demand the amount they want. It is something common here.

Hello Sham, How are you? So you did it for getting benefited. I can’t recollect any such incident, but I remember once a police came to home for passport verification and give money to that personnel. I think that thing is very common otherwise you won’t get your passport in time. I have seen the some officers are taking money publicly in vegetable markets, as the vegetable vendors are not allowed in those place and if they want to continue their business every evening then they have to give this ‘tip’ to the particular personnel.

hello there, It's not good, but sometimes we are forced to do so. Now,since we are here supporting this kind of corruption, that is why police men and other government employees are asking for it and even lived/used to bribe (it is becoz of us folks) I admit,i do,i did to avoid inconvenience and hassles.

I'm sure there are plenty of police here that would take a bribe but there is a law against it here too. With my luck if I ever tried to bribe one, he would probably be the only honest one in the area and take me right to jail. I have never tried to bribe one.

Here in our country, sad to say, there are a good number of police officers who accept bribe from lawbreakers. Maybe it's because they are underpaid with the tough job that they have. Fortunately, I haven't been into any kind of trouble with the authorities and hope not to have one in the future, It's sad that there are really lawmakers who break the law. Hopefully the government or someone could do something about it.

Well, that's usually the case of some violators who have the money to give. Rather than being burdened with having to go to the station and get their license, they would just give bribe. So those corrupt police keeps multiplying.

i also tried bribing policemen several times, it's much cheaper than paying for the real price for my mess, plus having a long conversation is a lot more waste of time

In the United States, bribing a police man is a federal crime I guess. God knows how many years you might in jail for. Actually, not every policeman is that clean I believe. Other countries, such as Mexico, Central American, and South American, that is common scene, and people do it all the time. At some Asian countries I also heard it about too. So, they should well - train those police forces, or modify internal policy within the forces.

What You say is correct.Bribing police helps us to relieve mental tention and further troubles and nuisance. After all there is corruption in every walk of life.I can say there is no one who has not bribed for getting favours and also avoid disappointments. We also bribe God by offering many things to Him to seek His favour or help us get out over our problems.Police man is after all a petty Govt servant and he is only a small fish but there are whales and sharks particularly in political field. From another amgle when we look at it there seems to be some justification as it establishes equal distribution of money.Am I right...?
