Lent is a month full of temptation. I can recall everytime the lent season start, the temptation just keep piling up. This year is no exceptition.
My first temptation I got today. My motorcycle was stolen last night. And I only knew it this morning when I want to use it to go to shop. I'm almost curse my luck but I kept calm.
When I go to police station to make a report of my missing bike, I found out it was already in the police station holding bay. Thanks God. I got my bike back.

I'm not Catholic and I've never practiced lent (I know it's not strictly a Catholic practice anymore.), but I'm a little confused. Aren't you supposed to give up something for lent? What exactly was tempting you to break lent?
It sounds like everything worked out just fine in the end. Praise God. I'm glad you got your bike back.

We are not suppose to give up anything except sins. But of course sins is so difficult to avoid because we might do it without even realizing it. There are a lot of thing that can cause us to sins during the lent and I feel the temptation is much greater during lent compares to normal day. but that maybe how I feel only.
If I cannot get grip of myself, I just might curse and swear which is not a good thing. The worse thing that can happen I might curse using God's name, just like we always saw on TV.

Hmm... I must check my research sources.
I personally don't think we sin without realizing it so much as we sin without caring. We don't stop to think about right or wrong because we don't care what's right or wrong when we're angry, emotional, or in a bad spot. I don't think anyone sins unintentionally... just carelessly.
Maybe you need to turn off the TV for lent then. lol It might be time to find some new sources of entertainment. If that's what's one of your sources of bad influence, you need to nix it.
