I just got involved in the travel home-base business. Well the fact it is a Multi level Marketing business. Well Direct Sale is the way to go as people like Robert Kiyosaki, Warren Buffett, Donald Trump are involved.
So why travel business,
- according to economywatch.com only 10.3 percent of the population can afford to travel oversea, so the rest of the 90% would benefit from this.
- The travel and tourism industry is worth 700 Billion dollars world wide.
- Trend suggest it is going to grow some more.
- People like and dream to travel.
So do you think would it be profitable.

I think all MLMs cited the book of Robert Kiyosaki and everyone else, because they wrote about the basic of becoming an entrepreneur. You can be rich in MLM business, as long as you work really hard on it and do not give up easily. Most people would give up after a year or two after not much result
But I guess with this kind of business you can start seeing the result in the year 3/4, depending on how diligent you are. Good luck.

The problem with cosmetic or supplement products, they only target the female or the health conscious people. However travel appeal to the generate public. Travel and tourism (as surveyed by CNBC is a 11.3 trillion dollar market)
The potential is really great. At least that is what I think, even if I fail in the business I still have great deals in the travel deals.
So it is a win win win situation.

Yes, MLM is a business where you do not need a lot of capitals, only need hard work and a positive thinking to face all the rejections ahead. I was in it before (different type) and couldn't continue... too weak hearted to go on.
Yes, travel may have a better chance than cosmetics or supplements products. Good luck.

This is timely! I actually just met one of the people who invited me to this sort of business. I am having really good thoughts about this offer and I really would like to know more about it, too. I think it's profitable and realistic and people would eventually buy it.

Marissedlv, Not having heard your business I really cannot comment on it. Perhaps you can share a little before I give the wrong impression. We all have to be realistic about all business, we need to put effort it it.
Tracy don't hear others success story, create your own, belief you can and you will.

Stop back in a few months and let us know if it was really worth it. I've tried a few and it didn't work out. Now I just don't have the money to risk so I stay with things that don't cost money to try like here and many other writing sites.

I do have a success story from writing online. Without spending a dime I now make money every month..even if I don't do anything that month. What I won't do is give money to start a business adventure in someone else's business unless someone proves to me it is really worth while.
I want to find real work from home jobs but very careful not to waste money.

I feel like something like this can always be profitable if you are willing to work for the goals that you set for yourself. This means that for someone like me that isn't able to get out a lot there really isn't a chance of being successful. However, for people that are very social and are able to strike up a conversation with anyone that they come across, there is nothing but success for that type of person.

You would be surprise about humans very unique ability to make things work when push to a corner. That is how we have progress. If you keep telling yourself this is your only hope, then you would find ways to make it work.
If the other way around, you tell yourself you are not able to make it, then your brain would then make that a reality.

Here in the Philippines, i guess the people are more into buying those much needed things first before thinking of travelling.
You really must have extra money, in order to travel . In this times of crisis, that would only be applicable to those who have more in life.

I once tried trave business with protravel network and I am sorry to say that it did not work for me at all. I can't really blame it on anybody because it was wrong time for me to try any kind of business since I was very busy taking care of my ailing parents and between their doctor's appointments and everything else I just did not have time to go through their training etc.
One thing I didn't like about protravel was that their monthly maintenance/administration fees was in US dollars, their ticket prices were also in US dollars but when they paid me my commission it was in Canadian Dollars. It didn't make any sense to me and I emailed them to ask why was my commission in Canadian Dollars and nobody bothered to reply back so I decided to quit because I felt cheated and taken advantage of.
Hope you do well with your business, good luck and do keep us posted about your success.

both passed away. Mom a few years back and dad last year.
How's the travel business going? Are you required to take courses and such?
By the way I tried to check out a few sites on your page and none of the links seem to be working. Thought should inform you.

I did not put it on my page, I think it is only fair that I let the people know what he/she is getting into before he/she commits. if you like I would perhaps would sent you some details so you would be able to understand it better.
Plus there are some changes and update so people around the world would benefit more. I just got start and the people are helping me. No I do not need to take any course.

I think how profitable this would be depends on whether the company you are working with is a good one or not and on how well you are suited to conducting this form of business, but I hope that through conducting this business yourself you are able to get some great deals (or free) travel and that you have fun!

iwrite,
It is a fact that travel is indeed in demand especially since the emergence of low cost airlines - travel has reached even on a never before high plateau.
There's no denying that you have a relative potential here, however, I have to remnd you that you may need to extend your service outside of Singapore. For one, I am sure your market is limited and most of all restricted by market saturation.
Also, I am sure you are aware of the strict regulations of operating a travel agency in Singapore where one has to be licensed by the Singapore Tourism Board. Having said that, you will know the implications here, where people will not be enthusiastic over some overseas listed agency and risked being "frisked" at the end of the day.
I really hope that you will see the problems here and seek opportunities outside your country. Last but not least, please ensure that your host is a bona-fide legitimate travel agency or you will find yourself being implicated by unnecessary legal battles.
Have a nice day.

I am not too sure how to put it so that it does not sound like I am trying to sell it to you, but it is my business to want to defend what I am doing so if you are willing to hear me out, perhaps you would pm me.
I am not saying it is a plate on a platter, you need to work but you can get there.

YEah, it should be profitable because i love to travel as well.. haha =D However, travelling do come with a cache as some people likes to travel alone than with a group.. haha =D How does your multi level marketing with regards to travelling work? What does it boost and how does it interest people in travelling, or not travelling??

I really don't know if it would be profitable or not. I don't think I would be able to do this kind of thing if my life depended on it. I was never successful with the different businesses I tried. I spent a lot of money, used the stuff for a while, but never took off. I hope you are able to make it work. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your failures, or should I say congratulations. You are closer to success if you keep trying. You now understands the system, you know what are the bad and what could be good. Use your experience to help yourself find something that can work for you. Remember if you give up, you would be known as failure, but if you try and succeed, you would be spectacular.

I don't even know what to try any more. I need to find something where I don't need to depend on anyone but myself. Unfortunately, in most cases, you don't make any money that way.

daeckardt,
Well it all depends on you, lets say you are in sales, you need to sell your product right. Now here you are selling a concept, a lifestyle. I think our way of approach is wrong, the other person would not be interested if you make money or not, but if he/she make money or what is it to him/her.

I think travel home business is a profitable choice.
As you mention people like to travel so they need a travel agency for booking and other information.
Compared to other travel agencies, you have an edge in your income because you do not need to pay for the rent since you do your business at home.
In my country, even local tourists needs some information where to spend their vacation making travel business profitable.
Good luck to your business

Travel home business? Tha's something new to me. I have came across many forms of multi level marketing but i have not heard about one that deals with travels. It would be very interesting to know how it works, and with that business, will it mean members gets to be frequent flyer? Travel and tourism industry is profitable, but i'm not sure if those profits would be shared equally down the line.
