It could be from drinking too much soda. Not sure if you are a soda-drinker or not.
There are a lot of things that cause them but I think that is a common one.

You can try swishing with a saline solution. Mix 1 teaspoon of salt in 1 cup of warm water and swish for 30 seconds and then spit the solution out. You can also make a paste out of 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and add a small amount of water to it. Apply the paste over the sore to relieve pain and help it to heal more quickly by reducing the alkalinity and bacteria in the mouth.
You can also try and find out what triggers your outbreak of canker sores so you can avoid them.
