Girls playing poker

I am a 22 years old girl and I had a long relationship with a boy very fond of different gambling games.so as a result I became very fond of playing poker.I dont like it because of the earning of money,and I really dont play it for the money.In mmy opinion all the money you invest for gambling games should be considered as spent for an entervtainment,not as inested about winning.So my question is are there among you any females interested in poker and do you think it is normal for a girl to be interested in such things.

I'm in the same boat as you. I started playing when my boyfriend started, and I was hooked. I think it's great for women to play. There have been many times when people expected less out of me, likely because I am a woman, and I won because of it. Guys go all in on me with ridiculous hands, probably because they think I'm too scared to go all in even with a good hand. But they're wrong, I easily took someone's money when they used that tactic.
Also, there are many women in poker these days. Just see how Liv Boeree won the EPT in San Remo.

Me. I'm very interested in playing poker, my favourite game is texas hold'em. I aagree that not a lot of girls are interested in this game, when my husband and I went to the poker room in the casino, we mostly only saw guys, maybe some girls player but not very often. My husband likes this game and he taught me how to pla, we went together when we wanted to play cards so it wasn't a big deal for us but not anymore since our baby was born.
