I have a crooked teeth, but this doesn't bothered me so far. But during my adolescence stage of life, I was so upset to myself & had so little self confidence because of it. Every time I smile I'm always disturbed thinking she or he's looking at my teeth. I feel so ugly & it frustrates me a lot. We don't have that much money to fix my teeth so I have no choice but to accept the fact that I don't have nice teeth. When I was college my mother tried all she can to fix some part of my teeth & it deed change my life. The upper part of my teeth was fixed but not the lower part but it gave a huge difference. Now I can smile with ease & confidence & it gained me a lot. Others tend to laugh & humiliate others who has crooked teeth which is so annoying. There was this new singer that has a great voice but when I read comments about her videos in Youtube, some people laughed & humiliated her just because she has crooked teeth. So rude & i hate them. One thing that I learned in life is to really take good care of our teeth & try to fix it as soon as possible. I have my own son now & as a mother I'll do all I can to make his teeth grow beautiful & properly aligned. Because honestly whether we like it or not, our teeth plays a huge impact on our appeal, mainly in our self confidence. So we have to take care of it seriously, because if we don't we'll surely regret it someday..

I have one crooked tooth. And it made me self-conscious growing up. At that time, we couldn't afford an orthodontist so I just suffered through it. But when I finally finished school and was working, I had my own money to do something about it. It was a bit too late to really fix the tooth, but I did what I could.
And the funny thing is, all the confidence I've learned from suffering through the crooked teeth growing made me realize that I actually didn't need to have the tooth fixed.

hi gracielle its really so mean of people to make fun of somone because of their teeth. I am 85 and have a lot of dental work I need done but just cannot afford to do and my insurance covers so little its
disgusting. most dentists a round here will not take payments so
I just smile slightly and wish it was different.. My teeth were not
crooked I just lost some crowns and need them replaced. the ones I have look well enough but having missing teeth makes me feel less than attractive of course.

My teeth aren't crooked but a piece of my front tooth broke off and I have it temporarily in. The dentist has 3 month waiting list. I hate it. but nothing I can do. So I know how you feel. Take care.
