I Said I was Through with Mc Donalds!!

There is a gas station by my job and there is a Mc Donald's inside the store and I know I said I was through with them but I never buy anything there anymore!! but me and the supervisor have been going there for over a year now and they always give us a large cup of ice and have never ever charged us or anyone else for it! But Today!!O.M.G. I was the next person in line and I swear they were not doing anything but wiping the counters and noticed me there and some girl just jumps in front of me and I had to say something of how rude that was because I was almost late for work and then the guy said I have to charge you for the ice and I asked him why i never paid for it before and no one else has either!! He said it was a quarter so I just threw the quarter on the counter and told him this is wrong and he told me have a nice day and hope to see you soon well I said I will have a nice day but you won't see me anymore!! First the pancake syrup and now this? What is wrong with them?

I agree their food is awful!! And the service too!! Bad service? Bad food? NO way!!

They're charging you for the ice, because they think you need it there, you have to eat there, your job is there. you got to eat nothing if you don't go to the store. monopoly

I recall reading that you were through with McDonalds and it looks like you’ve been reminded why! I’ve never asked for water there so I don’t know whether in Australia they charge for it or not but I can appreciate your annoyance. No good telling the young staff behind the counter how you feel because usually they couldn’t care less. Trying emailing the office or something like that…Don’t know if it will get you anywhere but at least you can vent….

Yea now I am defenetly through with that place!! They never charged anyone before here for a cup of ice!! And the fact that they have been really rude not only to me but other customers as well!! That is a good idea I am going to email them about it like you said probably won't get anywhere with it but you are right I can vent!! Thanks and have a great day!!

Just because no one's charged you before doesn't mean that they were not supposed to charge for ice.
Where I used to work, the people that trained me were supposed to tell me that there's a charge for adding 2 or more extra items to cheeseburgers (tomato, lettuce, mayo, onion, any combo of the two that don't already come on a cheeseburger); because we already have a sandwich with those things on it that is a higher price. But they did not teach me that, and six months went by before my manager realized that I was not charging. I got into trouble, receiving a write up over the matter.
Costs are going up around the globe for everything.
Unfortunately, we the consumers are the ones who almost always end up absorbing the price, through being charged extra for extras.
I believe that McD's typicaly gives 3 sauces for 20 McNuggets. Want more? There's a surcharge for it, at least where I live.

Maybe so but that certain Mc Donalds everyone that works there has had an attitude problem with all the customers lately!!! I will not go anymore for sure!!!

When my internet was down I went to McDonalds to use the free wifi. While I sat there people were so complaining that if they do not ask for napkins they do not get them. Then after asking they get only one.
Some were complaining about asking for condiments and they were only given one. When they asked for a second they were told it would be an additional charge. M
My thought while sitting there was gee what is wrong with this chain of restaurants, seriously so many cuts and charging. It is a wonder why they are still surviving.
Don't blame you because woe isn't their ice chest filled to the rim, lol.

Dang!! Something for sure going on there and it was not just them charging me for the ice they were really rude and have been lately to everyone!! This morning my supervisor said she went there and there was a line "once again" And she said the lady behind her asked for an iced coffee and they gave her a hot coffee and there were line jumpers again! L.O.L. then she "my supervisor said she ordered the apple pies and they threw them on the counter hard like as if they were throwing them at her and when she got to the office they were burned when she opened them!! I said I would of took them back!!! Those people are just rude anymore!! I told her I will never go there again!!! I will bring ice and food from home!!

Sounds like profits are down to me. I think they re-evaluated who their loyal customer are/were and what kept them coming back. If they don't they will be running in a different gas station or not at all.
