Predictions of 2012

What do you all think of the predictions of doom for 2012. Where there is a great celestial allignment and we will experience great changes on earth. The predictions are great drought, the melting of the ice caps and the flooding of coastlines. Nostradomas and the ancients in South America also predicted this change. The ancients ended their calendar in 2010. Our magnetic field is waning and/or changing. I am really freaked out and fear the collapse of society. I would be happy to hear what anyone else has to say.

If the magnetic field of the earth is waning, the ice caps will melt...(and it is said all the phenomenons are due to the solar storms which will destroy the earth in the movie of ). The activities of solar storms are proved by the scientists. Maybe not to bad ,but possibilities still exist!

It seems this aligment with the coming of planet X or Nibiru it's gravitational field is going to shift our magnetic field and terrible earthquakes, tsunamis and more are going to happen. It already begun, birds don't know exactly where to go back and they have perfect sense of the coordinates, plus even airplanes are updating their navigationals systems as the Earth is changing.

I think doomsday has been delayed a time or two.. like angels and demons fighting in the air but human prayers have given the angels an extra ummph of strength now and again and the clock is running a little slow. Before apocalypse can occur there will be a world governing and a global commerce, along with likely more of a one world religion than we have currently. The prophet Joel wrote of a/the drought, as does Revelation 12:16 and Luke 23:28,31. I think collapse will occur in another 20 to 40 years, most likely about 30(?)

We have one life to live. We can't waste time thinking about what happened in past, we CAN certainly learn from our past and move on. Similarly we don't know if we will be alive a second from now and 2012 is quite far compared to that one second so why not enjoy our present that one second and do the best to save our environment. Actually me and my children always joke about it because my son is 22 yrs old and he has planned to get married when is turns 24 so there we go. I always tell him that I wouldn't count on it,hehe... Have fun dear, don't worry just do the best to save our nature and environment and leave the rest in god's hand. It's what we will sow is what we will reap so if we are careful we will be around way beyond 2012!

whether you belive it..??? I do not belive it because it will only weaken my faith to my god, and I do not want that to happen to me. only a fool would believe such a thing.

2012 sometimes claimed to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or apocalypse). Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the thirteenth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya Calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order." hi arabgirl, i have not predicted about 2012,so body and some papers,tv etc etc are saying that dooms day will come, i think that at presense 75 percent of the world was fate and only 25 percent will be good,if all turns to fate means 100 percent, then the calamity will come and destroys everthing, niether you will be there nor i will be there, have a nice day

Hi arabg, The year is just around the corner and events of cosmic proportions don't just happen overnight. If such events had to happen as portrayed in the movies, then, a lot of warning signs should be around by now. So far, what we experience are just normal daily phenomenon that has been around for millions of years, even worse then than now. Tornadoes that rip off whole forests, volcanic eruptions (Indonesia that caused giant tidal waves that reached as far as Japan), meteorites that exploded whole mountains, in fact even our Earth's early history is complete with molten, drifting continents, massive earthquakes that formed new mountains, centuries of torrential rains, ice ages and dry seasons. Remember what happened to the great planetary alignment just a few decades ago? It is believed to be the end of the solar system with all the gravitational field in one plane pulling everything toward the sun, starting with the outermost planet slamming to the next and so on. What about the Y2K bug, or of the sun never shining again on that morning of January 1, 2000? If it happened, then why I am still posting this thread?
