why are vampire movies, tv series and even books are so phenomenal?

why are these so phenomenal when these are just fantacies? what would be the reasons why people patronize these kind of thing?

Twilight Saga books and its movie are the latest books i have read, i enjoyed reading these book because, if it is true that vampires excessed in this world it is proven in the book that just like us not all vampires are bad in the way that they eat heart and sip blood. I am much awaiting for Breaking Dawn movie. I think while reading the book, i fall inlove with Edward Cullen hahaha.

stphenie meyer is just amazing. she made this book with passion and intelligence. she can capture the hearts of the reader through her characters. edward and bella is great. i hope the movie will give justice to the book.

I think people are so eager to escape from reality, that they prefer to get entranced by stories and people that could never be real. They want to immerse themselves into something that is more powerful than what we regular humans are capable of. Vampires and werewolves and all of those beings are more powerful than just you and me. And we want to believe in a world where good guys are clearly good, and bad guys are really bad. But that is just my theory.

that is so correct AmbiePam. i believe people are tired of what is happening in the real world. it really is tiring. so people tend to enter into something they believe will happen in their imagination. something to divert the real into soothing fantacies. thanks for that wonderful comment.
