What is your definition of a friend?

One of my favourite sayings states that, 'a true friend walks in when the rest of the world walks out'. It's a creed that I, myself, try to live by. And it's the one that I consider to best define what a friend should be. Their support should be unconditional; they should reach out to you when nobody else will. They should enjoy conversing with you, but not get bored if there's silence. They should ask you how you are and never be offended if you don't want to tell them. They should know that you care, even if you haven't spoken to them in awhile. They should make you happy and cheer you up if you're sad. And if they make you sad, they should be apologetic. And you should always forgive them. That, to me, is what a friend is.

The real friend is a person with whom you are able to think with voice-words!

A friend is.... faithful robust impish everlasting nuts, and a dear. Sorry, I can't come up with better words! My friends know that!

Sometimes, you better watch out for you so - called "good friend", or friendship. People simply hide behind a mask, and they would do malicious things to each other. I lost trust on certain people, especially those who deems too friendly. I was scam, and manipulated once. And I just have to keep my guard high on this one.

For me a friend is someone who will always be around when you needed him/her most even you seldom communicate with each other. Someone who will always understands why you are acting weird at times and someone who has cherished memories of the past with you. A friend is someone who has touched not only your heart but the very deepest part of your soul.

A real friend for me is somebody who is always with you..when you are happy, when you are sad, when you have money or even you don't have any. Somebody who u really trust to talk about your fellings, your secrets and more. A friend is somebody who you could leave everything what you are doing and go anywhere to help. I can tell you...they are not easy to find. but they are easy to keep. doesn't distance, culture, religion...anything..they are gonna be there to help and I am sure you are gonna be there to help them!! love and peace!

I think that friends are those who make help you be better. It is common to have people around on the good times but when things go out of hand is usually the time real friends come out. I think that people who supports you all the way are your true companions. Friends come and go but true and real friends are those who comes back when needed.

For me, a friend is a person whom you can rely on. Aside from family, a friend is the one who will care and loved you without expecting something in return.

friend? hm.. they are there whenever you need them for better or for worst but also bear in mind that people including your friends also has a limitation to be virtous
