I used to ask myself why some people seem to have close connection with God while I don't. They could talk passionately about their talk with God, feeling the presence. At the time I felt that God had abandoned me as I didn't feel anything at all like those people. I kept searching until I found a girl (now my wife). She said that this earth is human being life school. We human beings existed on this earth to grow spiritually, i.e. in mind, heart, and soul, and to decide firmly whether we wanted to love others and learn to live peacefully with each other or to ignore others for our own self interest mostly. She also said that I should be patient in my relationship with God. How I connected to God could only be found when I feel gratitude with whatever happened to me. So I muled over her sight. I learned step by step about self development instead of searching for God. And I found some personal revelations. Kow thyself, before you know God. Really, people cannot tell you or change you what you have to do. About this thing, you have your own answer. If you still can't find it, don't worry as long as you're aware of it. Just never give up to learn from others, and decide for yourself. We'll all get there in our own time. That's all for now, buddy. Peace...

Understanding ourself is very great knowing even if we connect ourself with the functionality of god as ourselves system of body and soul.
We Indian have very strong Philosophy and believe in many god. We have god for everything including tree and moutain. But at the core of everything who ever is centre they all are concentarted on human body only and the those great person who has wrote about it has clearly wrote the source but we misunderstood it and establish a idol in temple on the name of that human body part and worship that..
So it's all about our small understading of great things...isn't it?
Even when our great man's went to describe god as power/energy they just gave example that our sould and supreme being(god) is same energy. There is just a slight difference between it that our sould has cicumference but supreme being has not...and our ultimate aim is to understand our soul and make it pure that much which can be melted in the supreme being...
Thanks...

Some of the questions I ask God is where does He want me to go, what does He want me to do, and what should I really do with my life. I know they're general questions but then I still ask them any way. There are times that I continually ask for His guidance especially when I'm in doubt when making some big decisions in my life. When I feel frustrated, I ask help from Him to help me see things clearly and in a better way.

You should do some surat shabd abhyas which can be said in english "yoga based on sound". You will come to know all the answer what ever you want to ask...
Human being is very complicated structure and there are many things which don't understand ... so believe in yourself as what ever we describe as God ...you can create in yourself to answer you ...
Thanks for your response...

With respect to my relationship with God, I have no questions. I am quite comfortable with that relationship. I believe anyone who says he or she has THE answer is either full of themselves or is very naive. However, I like to hear the theories and conclusions of other people. Some of them even make sense. I often wonder if we (the human race) will ever know or is it merely human nature to constantly question and seek the truth. Is it our natural curiosity that keeps us going? After all, our greatest inventions have been spawned from need and curiosity.

I guess my biggest question would have to be what happens after our time on earth ends and how do we forgive those who have hurt us without resentment? I guess that is two questions LOL ! The one in regards to where we go after we pass on would have to be the one most people would love the answer to!

I consider our soul as energy and this body as just the equipment which can be lasts after some time interval.
Just like some other human made equipment runs until we give that some fuel to have some energy but can't if the parts has lost their date of expiry even if we give more fuel too..
Just like that soul stay like energy but can't say confidently where it goes though we have different vision in Indian philosphy...
Thanks...

Really, I don't question where we came from or why we were created. Instead, the biggest question that I have ever had for God is why is it that people have to suffer so much during our lives. This question has been something that I've wondered about since I was a teenager and my father passed away and it is a question that comes back to me from time to time because of the fact that I've had a close friend and now my friend's cousin that have all been through similar situations to that which happened to my father.

Oh, God created us in the first place. I have no questions as to why. I am just thankful, and it is in here that God is teaching us to learn to love Him.

I want to know why religion is so male-dominated. Why are women called by the Bible to submit, and how do we know that the Bible really is the word of God when it was actually written by humans?
