I enjoy the social networking site specifically to interact with friend and family. I also may have double accounts in some where I specifically promote my articles. I like to share my article links and share with many of similar interests. It has afforded me many views in Triond by doing so.

Social networking sites have changed the lifestyles of many people. It is a place for the unknown to meet the unknown thereby creating a chain for friendships globally. Many have found the internet and social networking sites as their new toy in life. They are glued to their computer endlessly having fun socializing online at the expense of life in their real world.

The opportunity that a social networking site is that it affords a person the opportunity to set up a profile for themselves and to share with others their likes, dislikes and sites that they either have up online or that they enjoy. You are promoting yourself to meet and get others interested in you. In short it is a self promotional site.

There are many social networking functions. Expanding the interaction, based on the value of being owned in common, each individual, certain characteristics in common, or never interact in a certain period of time, hence the birth of nostalgia, which can be felt together. Add insight, or knowledge by means of information, sharing, and commentary. Imaging, or market yourself in a positive sense, in this case also associated with prestige, and a willingness to update information technology. Media transaction, and thinking in terms of trade, political, cultural, even possibly in the field of education. In a further escalation, it can also means as the media intelligence, the disclosure of various crimes law, media help, and means of Citizen Journalism. Furthermore, perhaps the media is as recreational, or wash the eyes, after hammered by the heavy burden of thought, such as seeing the movie funny, new discoveries, games and other.

It's a place to meet people with similiar interests or talk to people that you already know. I used to have two seperate myspaces. One for social friends and talking to people I know and the other to promote my writing. You can talk with people and meet people interested in the same subjects you are blogging about. You can promote on them by just letting people know. Myspace and facebook, twitter, myblog log, there are tons.

It can be a place where you can discuss serious topics .. or just a place to meet like *minded people that share the same interests as oneself!

A social networking site is mainly there for the purpose of socialization, keeping up with old friends and meeting new ones. It's there for you to get updated with people you care about any time, any day. You can share some of the things you've been busy doing with. If you have a blog, you can actually share it or post it on your profile for others to see.
