If you were to be putting up a "Website".. what would it be?...
Can you come up with something you haven't seen around?..
just curious to hear about different comments and ideas!

I know a little about programming and am thinking about opening a social networking site. I have chosen jcow social networking script and am working it to tweak and make it more sophisticated. I am not sure if it will be a successful venture but it is a learning experience which might help me in future.

That seems to be what's popular right now. If you can match Facebook you'd have it all figured out. But more interesting. Maybe more of a mylot/facebook, without all the games and apps and clutter. I can't wait to see it :)

In my experience trying to do different and unique hasn't been getting me far. It seems like the things that are popular are popular and that's what people look at. All my good ideas are used or in the process of being used...probably like most others who aren't responding cause they don't want to give up their own good ideas.
